Excellent video guys..one of your best...informative, fun and beautifully shot. 👏
Great skill...you have become fish....wonderful
Wow I just jumped from kitty to this vid. Was a surprise. Need to go back lol
My wife and I did our scuba lessons while living aboard in the Caribbean, this brings back memories.
Free diving is so awesome! In the Virgin Islands, the sea turtles are my inspiration: they take a breath and then chill on the bottom for a while taking in the sight (and sea grass), then come back up for a quick puff of air.
Amazing. Love this series in the Caribbean. You both present it so beautifully.
Oh and Ginger Dogs 😊
Sit back and enjoy..... Thank you guys... I love Mondays 👍😊
Absolutely magical
This goes into both the sailing folder and the ASMR folder because it's so relaxing, idyllic, harmonious!
I'm imagining an ultimate sailing channel crossover with Skua, Soulianis, Polar Seal, Emerald Steel, and Atticus II....
Fantastico! One of your best videos and the underwater edits are stunning. Well done.👍👍👍
Amazing!
Love watching your videos keeps me warm
Wow some amazing sealife and looks like you visited some amazing places and a very pieceful sail too. Great video as always!
Fantastic ♥️👍
SUBSCRIBE 👍♥️
cool ,thanks for pointing out the practical advantage of free diving, beside the fun it must be.
very informative video, thank you both! see you out there soon!
Free diving deeper is awesome. Never thought they had classes for that but figures they would. When you get into scuba those techniques could save your life one day. I've always wanted to get scuba cert but I don't think my back could take the weight of the tanks...Out of water atleast. My friend used advanced breathing techniques to extend his tank life to be long enough to be rescued. Really love your videos. Keep living the dream!
That's so cool guys!! We have this on our bucket list for sure xx
Totally recommend it 😊
I really enjoyed that video. Thank you.
🐠 love your videos!!
When, not if, you go scuba diving; you'll find you WILL be the last ones up. The reason: you will have a better breathing pattern eg. relaxed & slow. 👍
Dam looking warm there its-47 here in saskatchewan Canada
❤️
Cool 😎
I learned the hard way. Wear a pair of wetsuit boots or at least a pair of sweat socks with fins. One time I rubbed the skin off of all my toes at the same time getting my diving cert. It hurt like hell until I healed up.
what a fine video: free diving. made me think about the movie The Big Blue (1988). this movie is still a bit terrifying in context, but a skill i'd like to master. 15 meters aie aie. how does one not panic ? cheers
@Konstantin Ridaya yikes i'm going to have nightmares tonight. i remember vividly this film. what depths man will go in competition much to his peril. cheers
@Konstantin Ridaya just breath !
Very cute and lovely lady!
💯💯💯💯👌
..... Freak out time it would have been for me if I had a crab in my ear ... don't know why, but that is my first reaction thought, actually it would be because of stories where a creature has taken up residence and the removal was not an easy task .... on to brighter things, .... well done on your freediving accomplishments and Ryan for 15 meters ... have always loved the underwater and toyed with the scuba thing and then saw freediving, no clobber, ready to go in minutes, yes that's the ticket and my next vacation somewhere warm will be where I can take a course and learn it right from the start .... you are so going to enjoy this ... do you spearfish as well, such a bonus .... great video again .. thx for the peek into your adventures .... as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ....
Thanks so much, Peter. Well, that crazy screaming was me freaking out 😆
Yes, we can spear fish but it's illegal in most of the Caribbean 🙂
@@SailingKittiwake ..... I am not up on the topic and only have new knowledge. second hand, recently, in the Bahamas no guns are allowed but Hawaiian slings, pole spears are accepted .... Guessing it is a good idea to know and not get caught and fined etc ..... I'd have to say your reaction to the ear crab, you handled it very well Elena ... thank you for your reply .... have a fabulous week ....
This was a really nice video. I have seen you both free diving before, so you are not new to it. I am interested as to how much the course has helped, and in what ways you have improved?
We just did it "DIY" before. Like I said in the video, it really helped me try to overcome my equalization problems. Plus it helped us move better under water and understand how to look out for each other properly. We have dived deeper than ever on the course. And we can hold our breath for a lot longer.
Hi... What's the course fees for deep diving from Lexi ???
Thanks for sharing! Do you prefer the Med or the Carribean? I guess it's apples to oranges?
We love both. Our thoughts on both are in this video: ruclips.net/video/zUHmoNynzxI/видео.html

Thank you!!! God Bless you!
Your production quality improves with each video?
!!! Sorry for question mark
No problem, Kevi :) Thank you!
Are you planning the Panama Canal/Pacific at some point?
Nope :)
I'd love to know more about the proper way for equalizing pressure in my ears when diving. I was in the Florida Keys getting PADI certified for scuba diving a couple of weeks ago and my inner ears are still completely messed up. Sometimes I can hear well and sometimes I'm deaf as a stone. I was written up for being too loud in our apartment complex just because I had the volume too high watching sailing videos on RUclips!
Go get your ears checked by a professional. If you have equalization problems, take a course 🙂 it's not something you can just read about - you need to try out different things with an expert there.
@@SailingKittiwake I was in a PADI course when the equalization problems started, but I don't think the instructor gave me very good instruction on clearing my ears. I'd prefer not to go to a doctor. I have very little faith in the medical profession, at least in the U.S. They're what William Burroughs called "Croakers," or highly-educated drug peddlers.
@@lobotomyboy666 an ear specialist will do tests that will show if there is any physical damage in your ear. I had to do it after a problematic dive. It was very reassuring.
Diving instructors haven't helped me equalise either. The free diving instructor did. But I told her about my problem in advance and she agreed to help me.
@@SailingKittiwake thank you. This is the sort of useful information that makes your RUclips channel one of the very best sailing channels.
Aaaawwwww :) Thank you!

something is off here
RUclips is a funny place
Patreons can like and see it earlier I'd -subsume- presume, apparently.
@@manfredschmalbach9023 Are you trying out 'subsume' for the first time?
@@Chebab-Chebab Nope. I shall stand corrected anyway. Bloody non-native subsumers again 😂
You say you work online. What do you actually work online? Is there really a job you can do 100% online sustaining a sailboat life (beside having this channel)?
Of course. In fact, having a YT channel isn't a safe way to make money at all. The chances to make money out of YT are tiny - we work ourselves. Lots of info on how to work from a boat and how we've been doing it here: ruclips.net/video/TL22KxWEMxo/видео.html
@@SailingKittiwake thanks for your reply
first ;-)
Somehow the views are not counted correctly,ut did not change after I watched the whole video.
Yes, in the back end it says 1.7K views. Oh well :)
Their servers don't sync very well
