This heritage listed blue stone Hotel has lots of accounts of haunting`s and secrets but on this night they were trying to make themselves more understood while creating excitement,confusion and in the end more questions than answers for us!

I use to go to clarkfield pub as a kid. This is a true story about a old pub in Victoria Australia.when I was 10 years old my family & I use to go to this pub on the weekends,its a big 2 story blue stone 1800s pub with a blue stone restaurant witch was a stables Back in the day. Every time they closed up at night & went back to open up in the morning the picture frames on the wall were all ways tilted or of the wall, the chairs & tables were all ways moved glasses nocked to the floor,no signs of brake inns. The most paranormal activities went on in the pub day or night, some of the stories the owner & staff who lived up stairs would tell us use to Frighten the hell out of me & most of the people who were listening.one that stayed in my head all theys years was,when the cleaner was going to bed up stairs got undresst & before he sat down on the bed it sunk as if some one else sat be fore him, other things that was going on was lights would turn on & off by them self, glasses broken bar stools nocked over & when the pub was locked up for the night & in bed they would here foot steps & creeky floor boards coming up the stairs,when they would go to see who it was there were no one there.. My old man used to get pissy with me becouse I would not go the the toilet on my own becouse it was out the bar down a long hall way past the stairs & beside a massive old kitchen witch was all ways dark. The bloody hairs on the back of my neck use to stand up every time. This pub has been investigated by paranormal groups & has been on tv a few times. The stables or part of the pub was built over top of a old well were a disabled girl had fallen in & drowned..freaky right.. This is a true story. .the town is called clarkfield, in country Victoria..
Wow Darren, thanks for that information! That is info that fits perfect to others as well. And that is exactly why I came to this hotel to investigate. I had seen the 80`s documentary as a kid and remember it well. Myself and 4 staff experienced some pretty loud noises and responses while investigating that night. :-) Would love to go back again sometime!

I think the first recording in the stables is a spirit mimicking you by repeating, "Let us know." Cannot make out the response to your question about their name. Great idea using two recorders and the strobe lighting and an excellent catch with the light anomaly. Thanks

Being from Sunbury, I've always loved this pub and heard heapa of stories about it. Sadly, it has closed and won't be opening any time soon.

I wrote to them via facebook but heard nothing back. The were going through a few changes with ownership and future plans at the time I think. Ooooh! For some reason, this one had me spooked O_0 .. The problem when I get spooked, I need to pee, and our loo is outside. Another problem is, I always seem to watch these spooky ones at night, spooked means having to pee! O_0 .. Did I mention my loo is outside??! lol

Hey Justin, I like the honesty in your investigations, have been watching the American crap, just cant do it anymore. I still watch that old doco, have you thought about investigating Old Yorke Hospital in WA and Port Arthur. I have done the ghost tour at Pt Arthur, very interesting.

Been there heaps of times to have dinner It’s a creepy place I was sitting at a table near a door That went out side door is always locked can’t open it all of a sudden the door handle start shaking like some one was trying to get in scared the hell out of me

No, The owner wants to distance the whole haunted history which is a real shame. I asked her last year if I could investigate and she was not very keen on going down that path like previous owners have been. I was back there last weekend and going back end of this month.

That was great , on the knocking response, the first one was one to many for the correct response and the second was one to short, it was as if it realised and made up for it and I think if it had been someone messing about they would had given the correct response so that to me was a paranormal response and if you noticed the times it responded was when the spirit box was being used and it didn't respond when it was turned of so maybe they need some energy or something to respond and at the end the name sounds like Bill.

I certainly do not think they set up anyone to try tricks so I agree there is a fair old chance it was indeed paranormal which is great. Want to go back there again sometime. BBP Videos hi ya Paul , yes it's been a while but I'm glad you haven't lost your enthusiasm for investigating, in fact it looked like it's grown if anything. I've been moored up in me boat traveling the old canals and been on a few investigations with different groups as I traveled around. The last one was at the home of T E Laurence or better known as Laurence of Arabia , that bloke cared nothing for comport , his house was one room down stairs and one bedroom and he refused to have electricity installed. We had some good responses from him and the month before that we did Florence Nightingale , her grave is also plain the only inscription she insisted on was F N. Anyway that was an impressive program you did , responses and orbs , do you ever get smells when you investigate, we did an old church a while back and the vicar of 1695 was a drunkard and had molested a fair few women and you walk round there's nothing and then out of nowhere the smell of tobacco and stale beer, it's bloody weird and they got an evp of him saying he was gonna slap one of them only his language was full of 'you fuks' it's hilarious , a typical vicar of the 1600s.
@@bbpvideos6670 Hi I just watched your video and another older video with the 2 previous owners talking about the icy cold sensation they felt . I had a OMG moment, before i knew that the Clarkefield pub was haunted, my friend and i had frightening experience back in the early 80's. My group of friends dropped into the pub for one drink before we headed off to a party after our drink my friend and i asked the barman where the toilets were, we were told to go though a door on the right hand side, which lead near the kitchen. My friend and i decided to bypass the toilet & walk upstairs instead we quietly opened a door if i recall it was directly at the end of the top of the stairs. We walked in the room & left the door ajar it somehow closed behind us. We just thought it might of been a draft, so we continued checking out the antique style room with a fireplace & mantle piece i remember walking around the large dinning table then over to the mantle piece looking at the interesting nic nacs placed neatly in a row. Then all of a sudden the room turned icy cold the freezing sensation went straight through our bodies we felt a very strong overwhelming heavy but icy cold feeling. My friend and i never spoke we just looked at each other & ran down the stairs, we felt a strong icy cold pressure following us until we reached the main bar door.. We were both in shock, and said to each other what the hell happened up there? We left shaking in our boots and will never want to go back again. But at the time we had no idea it was haunted, otherwise we would never of put ourselves into that situation.. Thinking back it was definitely a feeling of not being welcome in that room, but at the time we had no idea what was going on..
Wow!! Dianne thanks so much for writing this experience in the comments! I too have seen the older Doco on this Hotel where the previous owners also stated the vivid cold over whelming them! I think I know that exact room you are talking about too, when you reach the top of the stairs you walk straight ahead? I remember the nice mantles but the dining table was not there, upstairs was more or less just storage and an office space in one of the rooms. Your experience definitely suggest someone was check on you and even warning you out of that area! Those banging noises I captured still amaze me and they sounded to have come from the toilet area or the bottom of the stairs. I regret forgetting to try for some evidence in the toilets as that is also where the little girl has been seen and felt many times. Have you ever gone back since your encounter? :-)
@@bbpvideos6670 Thanks for your reply, yes the small dining room upstairs was directly in front of the stairs and very well kept, full of antique furniture. Very strange how the door closed behind us as well. We were only in there for about a minute or 2 before the freezing cold heavy energy appeared, it really felt like it went straight through our bodies. The window was closed and it was not cold outside, being Jan or Feb and definitely not hot enough for any air conditioning at 8pm. Running down the stairs freaked me out, with the very powerful force of cold energy engulfed the stairs, like pushing us from behind. It was pretty amazing how my friend and i didn't say a word to each other, but felt the urge to leave the room immediately then run to get out of there as fast as we possibly could at the same time.. We had no explanation for what occurred that night, and dont think we ever spoke about it again and you are the first person i have told as well. Did you film in that room at all, yeah a shame you didn't spend more time in the area around the toilets and kitchen as well.. Pretty creepy!
Good video, but a warning for flashing lights (for those who suffer eplipsy)would have been good.
The girl who is meant to haunt this place was murdered, but not by her father. She was murdered by her Grandparents. She was dumb and deaf and suffered from extreme autism. She was a very difficult child to manage and look after as she was unruly and very prone to fits of rage. Her parents owned the Hotel during the Victorian gold rush. Her mother deserted the family and ran off with a miner. Her father then sent for his parents to help look after this little girl. One day he had to take a trip to Melbourne and was gone for a few weeks. It was during his absence that the grandparents threw her down a well which were near the stables. The well did not have much water in it and she did not immediately drown. Some say she finally died after a long and horrible death. The Grandparents were charged with murder. Should you ever go to this hotel if you look up on the upstairs floor a woman was also murdered there by her husband when he caught her with a miner. She is also meant to haunt the place. I have know ever owner there since 1981 and all have a similar story. The bedrooms are all upstairs and often you will hear noises coming from the main bar. When you walk towards the stairs to investigate what is happening down stairs you will feel a very cold breeze just before you are slapped on your back or pushed down the stairs. This has been a consistent theme of all the owners over the last 43 years.

i hate spirit boxes i dont believe they work they just make an annoying noise id bin it
Hey hippy chick! Yeah we have not had a lot of definitive success with the spirit box but the ones we have had are enough to keep it in the kit and keep trying. I think it is best used after fully giving the location a chance via other means because the noise of the thing is quite annoying and can prevent actual noises and evp`s being documented and identified. If spirits can hear it , it also would be annoying I would assume. lol. But it is an interesting tool so we will keep it for now. haha.
