I did not meet the man himself but I instantly recognized one of his points on the banner from a thumbnail. Im assuming someone just took it off his video for use on their banner. Same serrations and flaking so Im sure it’s his point. Some of those pipes were insane!! There was so much at the show that I didn’t go too in depth on. There was one frame with a broken point that had the tip cooked red and the base uncooked. We think it was lodged into the animal and broke off so they cooked it inside the bone then discarded the broken base. You can see it in the very intricate frame of perkiomens on the right side of the arch.
Great stuff man! It’s a good thing you’re doing preserving the passion, stories, and finds many of the old timers have to share. Always fun to see you in action, All you guys Keep doing what you’re doing 🤘🏼

It would’ve degraded the second it came out of that bank if not put into mineral oil instantly so maybe did it a favor and it’s still there. I geuss things were different back then. Lotta dudes were saying you dont find much of anything anymore because farmers stopped plowing the fields.
