Looks like I'm not the only one to come to the comments to talk about woodpeckers! One of the things I love about the Two Hot Geese is the nature commentary and regional birds. I used to have trouble with hairy vs downy, but the following really help: 1. Hairies have significantly longer bills in proportion to their head. Downies have short, stubby bills. 2. Downies will visit feeders and are often on branches as they're much smaller. Hairies are generally found on trunks of trees in mature forests and only rarely at feeders. 3. Look up some comparisons of the white on the edge of their tail feathers. This is what I use as confirmation rather than initial ID, though.
Downey woodpecker has a tiny beak and a Hairy woodpecker has much longer beak(length of head). Downey is about 1/4 the size of Hairy. Otherwise when they are not near each other its really hard to distinguish the two.
A horse's fancy walk is called a rack, which is a four-beat gait that is faster and more exaggerated than a standard walk. The American Saddlebred and Tennessee Walking Horse are known for their rack gait. Yes I pulled this off the internet. lol
The Downey and the Hairy woodpeckers are almost identical, the Downey is almost 3" taller and the Hairy has a slightly shorter beak! See them both on our courses here in Humboldt County.
Just watching this front nine if Ohn putted even remotely comparatively to the rest of the field in the FPO you would not know she existed. She literally is always up at the top based on her ability to put at the 30-40 foot distance. I think she is like 30-40% better than even some of the best female putters. It is kind of wild.
Man, I’m only 2 holes in, and I gotta say Kristin has been off this year. I know she was battling through injuries and she got married and stuff, but it’s tough to see. She’s going to figure it out though…. Or she’s pregnant. That’d be wild.
Ladies, I really like you as commentator duo, but the fact that you still can't pronounce Eliezra's name is really starting to come off as a bit disrespectful. You're on tour with her, right?
Can't Jomez afford to do a female-centric opening teaser for FPO? It kind of dulls my vibe for the tournament with the current opening. 2HG still rule the commenting world.
Jeeeesus christ try harder to be a victim. I bet you didn't say anything when page pierce was the voice for the opening for previous MPO episodes. They literally use the same voice over for fpo and mpo every week. Sometimes it's a guy sometimes it a lady.

The dressage movement you are thinking of is piaffe. It is trotting in place, hindquarters slightly lowered.

Ha ha ha, they are very hard to even describe, as my wife noticed, I did it backwards. The Downy is the smaller one. I need a stronger cup of coffee!

Horse gallopy is way better than dressage. Perfect description of navigating roots in a run up.

First time watching fpo, but the commentary is not good. Its what killed it for me.
