Love how people keeps bringing up wafarin %hp healing for Hoederer but keeps ignoring Lumen who does the job very well maybe even better because he can heal Hoederer while simultaneously healing the others as well with his big range and faster atk speed and higher healing per hit, so instead of having a dedicated healer for him only and wasting a slot + missing out on the buff from wafarin s2 just use lumen who will be better like 80% of the time
Yeah, was surprised just how much faster Lumen was at refilling Hoe's hp compared to Warf on s1 that you'd assume would be more useful due to the high max hp.
I’m glad the stun is actually working better than I expected, I thought the skill would be borderline unuseable thanks to the long time between stuns, and the extra 50% damage from the extra block.
Since he blocks 3, he seems like a really good cadidate for using support guards on him instead of stacking a defender behind. Iirc there is one that heals the supported unit, so they could be a potent combo. I was hesitant at first, but block three is worth a lot the more I watch. Just checked and Pallas has a stun and a heal in her kit, so the synergy only grows.
It's an interesting idea, although Pallas heal is a bit low. The stun isn't that great since he's always benefiting from his own stun, but it can help survivability I suppose.
@@slonik0002 Isn't his own stun not long enough to proc his talent in S2? I figured he might get some lucky procs from Pallas stun lining up with his attacks.

Would a ModX3 Shining with S2M3 be able to sustain him in these situations almost as well as your Lumen does? I'd already built Shining S2 in the past, so now I'm contemplating if the extra def that her module would give Hoed would be worth it, or if building up Lumen would just be better for him.
The extra defense would certainly help a lot more against regular mobs, making him not immediately die to dogs and stuff. But I’d say only do if if you really like Hoe, since he’s not really worth the cost of that.
You can get Shining's ModX or raise Lumen since you might need them for something later. But building them specifically for Hoederer is kinda a waste, unless you like him that much.
They still have high survivavility and do not depend on healer nearly as much as Hoe does, they attack faster and naturally have 3 blocks while Hoe only has 2 unless using s2. Basically Centurions excel at dealing with crowds of small to medium enemies but can struggle against the stronger elites, while Hoederer is the complete opposite.
Stuns are applied first in arknights, so yes. an attack that stuns and does bonus dmg to stunned enemies benefits from its own stun, dealing the bonus dmg.
Yes. Skadi Will give him DEF. Same with Shining. There's nothing actually making him stay at 0 DEF. He just has 0 DEF in his stats. so he can gain DEF from any DEF giving operator/artifact.

@@tamurlane_aloia Debuffs are almost always applied before damage, so he always benefits from the stun. Without it he’d actually lose DPS by using S2.
