Hope you are all having a great weekend! Here is a little game you may just like 😃 if you missed our review yesterday then check that out here ruclips.net/video/VZdIJYMu3sw/видео.html Thanks as always for all your wonderful support. Have a great weekend!
I played for about 2 hours and I had had enough. It's difficult sometimes to know what is background and what's foreground. There is also no map that could help out and enemies can hit you through walls.
Its simply a game with a challenge there is a difference between bullshit deaths and unrealistically hard, and a game being different because there is something to get out of this game with legitimate difficulty. This is a legitimate game with a challenge . NOW I HATE DARK SOULS AND MOST SOULS LIKE GAMES, but I just Beat this game a a couple days ago (took me about a week to beat being an adult and having to work and such) and I had a good time! As long as your paying attention to the screen YOU WONT DIE . This isn't supposed to be a brain dead game, a little strategy and timing and you'll be fine 🙂 I feel like people give this game unrealistic unrate while dark souls is looked as as the second coming of Jesus (not literally but thats how popular it is) when dark souls is quadruple the bullshit. Its a fun game great nostalgia great gore and its not long
@@snappy2725 that's with anything That builds off of fundamentals . Once the fundamentals are set the "groundbreaking " part is over. The reason why Games were so groundbreaking back then is because fundamentals and foundations were still being laid down and coming together. If you time traveled from the 80s to now every game would blow your mind and you'd play for hours. But you grew up with the fundamentals and watched the foundations being built so because of that everything seems repetitive (which it kinda is) once you establish "genres " you acknowledge the repetitive nature of something ( music, games, movies) once you start pioneering genres everyone starts trying to inspire there own unique twist on what's already been done trying to make it unique enough to carve their own special place in the genres. Hell thats how art has grown. Someone started it and then someone built upon it. Thats how the games, movie, and music industry had grown and even thrived in the last 30-years . Hell you can even say the same thing about fashion( that's why they say fashion going in cycles), technology is even starting to hit a flat line. Its the nature of creativity . Im sure if you keep looking you'll find something repetitive, but unique enough to keep your attention. Don't give up hope 👊🤟 I've been Playing games still i was a child so I know what your talking about, but video games have been there for me through some of my toughest times and ill probably play them for the rest of my life ill just become more selective of what I play due to the repetitive nature and marketing of video games. Repetitive and reskin doesn't been its not unique enough to be fun and keep your attention if you can see the beauty in it. Most things in life are repetitive, Hell life itself is a repetitive cycle in a macro and micro sense you just gotta find the beauty in it🤙☀️☀️🌞
The last patch changed so many things for the better like permanently increasing ammo after bosses. If you have the time you should definitely revisit Morbid T7A. The only change I don't totally agree with is run stamina being so low now but everything else made Morbid into the game I thought I was originally buying.
I just beat it a couple days ago and I love it definitely having another playthrough the atmosphere is what hooked me it motivates you to read the lore
Looks fun and I love the art style and atmosphere! The battle system's my type too, I love these top down arpgs... Guess I'll buy this if I see a physical copy!
The thing is, they basically wanted to make a Diablo clone, and they kind of half-baked it (I wanted to use another word than "baked," but I thought my comment would get deleted by YT, lol). Anyway, so the basic elements of the Diablo series are there, but the lack of a much more in-depth character development system, as well as not being able to buy / sell, or possibly even modify or craft inventory, really makes this game seem incomplete. If they had worked on those two facets more, I believe the game would probably feel more "natural" and not as needlessly difficult / frustrating.
I forgot all about this game until coming across it on the switch store on sale for like 7$ right now. I remember wanting to check it out but never did, but im buying now. Seems like a really good... dare i say... hidden gem?!?!?!! Thanks for the review.
Thanks for this review. This is one I’ve been eyeing up since I saw it announced. It looked like my kind of thing. Seeing this review has only confirmed this entirely (despite some of the annoying parts and lack of depth), and it’s solidly on my get list now. It’ll be good to kill an afternoon or two. That collector’s edition set is gorgeous as well.
Your welcome, I am always going to point out some flaws but in all honesty they don't detract too much from the game enjoyment. I still like it a lot, the the signiture edition is lovely for sure. Hope you enjoy it buddy
Edit: as long as you use items regularly you'll have just about the right amount without running out or needing to discard. Also imo the rest areas are perfectly spaced so as to keep a prefect challenge while not ending up being pointless like dark souls 3. This is my most anticipated game of 2020 even over cyberpunk. Now I just need to wait on my signature addition...
Awesome Juan this looks bloody awesome! Only thing that sounds a bit annoying to me is the whole ‘sanity’ system. I know it’s a common sort of feature of games like this but they’re hard enough as it is! Oh well looks great mate cheers
Yea that was one of those at first I didn't know what was going on as I missed the little book for it. I was wondering why my screen was beating and so searched for the book. I played the first quarter with no sanity and wondered why enemies kept resurecting 🤣
I've been rather enjoying the game so far :) it reminds me of classic games from my childhood that were all essentially challenging back in the super nintendo days lol.
@@SwitchWatch I bought it on XBOX because it seemed to be right up my alley. I also just picked up on Switch as well. I don't believe it's on Gamepass yet but Gamepass does have a lot of good stuff on it.
I thought the performance on this was very good. It runs at 60fps and I haven’t seen any skips. I agree with the rest of your criticism, especially the need for a map, even a simple one to give some idea of the layout of the world. I’m really enjoying it.
Good stuff pal, I deffo experienced quite a few skips especially after running the game for a few hours and in handheld. I do find it odd when some people get issues and others don't. I'm running it from the cart with latest updated patch. I'm starting to wonder if it is something to do with using external memory instead of internal. Might do some experiments although here would make no difference as I'm running from cart rather than digital. Glad that is running well for you.
Not really. The chests don’t have much besides basic consumables (at least so far) and with the limited inventory space you need to be selective about what you’re carrying.
Haha true I’m glad it’s not roguelike. Honestly kinda refreshing to not level up. I remember back in the day before every game had levels. They still had character and ability progression. Look at Ocarina of Time. Thanks for portraying how challenging this game is haha. It’s a very tempting game but might be too hard for me. But idk! I might wait for a sale, or just wait until I get weak lol. It does seem fun. And I’m glad they encourage you to play the game and get better. As old as I am, it is frustrating these days when games will literally play for you..
This is a brilliant game I love it also the game called in celebration of violence is cool game too has few issues but if they get patched then it could be a little gem
I played this game for about 2 to 4 hours and it's not only tough, the game is primarily unfair. Here is stuff that pissed me off: It's hard to tell what's background and what's foreground. You and enemies can hit each another through walls. There is no map system. I was walking around clueless of where to go. Bosses are overpowered and unbalanced. I can't make out some breakable objects as it's overall too dark. Npcs talk nonsense and they just appear next to enemies. After saving, all enemies are back.. so I started to just run through them... so not really fun.
I just discovered this game today. So Bloodborne is my favorite game and salt and sanctuary is up there too. They are the only two games I bothered to platinum, so I'm guessing I will probably like this game
Looks good but you die to many times like dark devotion that for me was a suprise and its hard when you lose life and have to gather your shity blade over and over again what a mistake of a game but o hell

I can't cope with hard games anymore, at 43yo I just don't have the passion for getting killed over and over like I used to. Great review as always 👍
I'm 26 and feel the same way dude

Great review. I’m tired of this mechanic but the game looks good.

This is more like diablo than dark souls
Darksouls because of stamina gauge+difficulty challenge and Diablos bc demons/monsters/bloody gore vibs
