A general on the pitch, who could do everything, he was efficient, silent, composed, slick, tough and like a father or big brother figure for his teammates and he helped take the Portuguese team to great accomplishments. Portugal really looked like the Brazil of Europe at that time, "exotic", oozing with talent, flair, attractive style of play and Luis I believe held that all in balance.
