- The Division 2 released a brand new gear set and brand set in the recent First Rogue Season 1. In this video I take a look at both of these with some gameplay and review them. I have spent a lot of time trying out different builds and show you two that I enjoyed the most from my tests. They did the set a disservice by incorporating headshot and MMRs. I was hoping for something more creative.
Rifle and pistols. Replace the 30 headshot with 15 dttoc and it would be cool
Well l have been using both and l enjoy them better than hot shot, so for those that don't like them, simple solution, Don't use them, and don't give others garbage for using them, and if it's negative you have to say about them, it's your right...
Strongly recommend the Artist's Tool due to the huge mag size + Rifleman

I messed with it a little yesterday. 2pcs of BP + Iron claw, Headhunter, Ninja, and the knee pads with dttoc.
You're right about the rifles; I used the Diamondback, but I'll try the artist tool next time.
They could have reworked Sentey Gear Set for Rifle Only and dodnt...
2 Piece 15% Rifle Damage
3 Piece 30% Handleing 15% Accuracy
4 Piece Up to 3 Sentry Marks 15% Head Shot Damage per mark for All Allies
Backpack Talent Stacks can now stack to 5
Chest Talent Marks also has 15% All Incoming Damage per stack
I am with you all the way on this! Sentry was my go to on Div 1
Waiting for a new pistol gear set and brand set.
I am running 2 each of the new gear brand sets with the ninjabike backpack using the merciless rifle. 33 mag and fast rate of fire. Rips through heroic easily. Good for legendary too.
I exactly copied your first suggested build with merciless (apart from skills) and am so far having a lot of fun with it...due to arthritis I use a controller on pc and I'm not having any stability or aiming issues...appreciated, cheers.
Glad you like it. I think the build works very well for those rifles that need the handling.
Just started looking at this set... one of my fav guns that was always pretty weak was the UC15 MOD...viable now?

i increased the crit chance by using either 1 piece nego dilemma gear or shadow. and since the rifle only sub par at stability, i use punch drunk mask or 1 piece DH.
so 1 breaking point (holster), shadow/nego, zwa gloves, punch drunk, ninjabeg, overlord chest with glass cannon.
rifle damage (10 + 20 + 25)
accuracy (20)
headshot damage (20)
crit chance (15)
stability (30)
Did a build with diamondback exotic rifle, tested solo heroic with 4 directives 2 pieces breaking point set 2 pieces ziwadowka , knee pads fox prayers and Chain killer not maxed out yet but working good so far ( gunner specialised)
What's up with gunslinger and versatile? With SMG and shotgun
I've tested with 2 piece Z(eagle's grasp gloves), 2 providence, fox's prayers and picaros holster. Spotter/Vigilance talent combo. Sharpshooter spec with tactical drone and rev hive. Trying m1a variants with flatline, 1886 and urban mdr with an AR as secondary. That's pve and I've liked it.
Eagle's grasp gloves, 2 piece striker, 1 sokolov and 1 walker with ninja bike in pvp with Sharpshooter spec has been versatile to use. Using oreo as primary and Virginian as secondary. Unbreakable of course for max survivability.
For the low price of 4 gear slots you too can do the same or worse damage compared to traditional all red rifle! What a joke of a gear set.

im gonna play around w it. for the mmr it will be hard to move away from my hotshot/chainkiller combo. but for rifles. im gonna test out my m1a ,virginian, and harmony. i think i have a combo with using contractor and fox along with the new z mask, holster and chest. not sure what im going to use for a backpack yet
It works verry well with a higher mag rifle. Vindicator is sweet for it

Thank you for testing that, I always hope that someone finds an OP combo for these new gear sets because the new gear weve been getting is not so good man. They need to release gear that will shift the meta and change things up a bit. Probably too late now since we are going into Seasons 2.0 but we'll see I guess
I think seasons 2.0 will be a way to make sure we all get to at least test the new stuff. So many people just say no before testing now that things will get missed. An example would be the exotic rugged gloves. After extensive testing I rate these as top tier. Many that havn't tested rate them trash.
If seasons 2.0 works how I think it will, we will have more people testing things out and hopefully more new ideas which lead to top tier builds.

I didn't like the gear set, but I liked the brand set. I didn't like it because I think that a gear set around a weapon like a rifle should've brought a lot more power for rifles. Let's not forget that rifles aren't auto-weapons and they will still have recoil after putting handling on it, so I'd rather stick to my Neg. Dilema and Stiker's when needed. Rifles deserved better after waiting 5 years for gear set.
I use a similar build, except I swapped BreakingPoint with another Providence, it hits a lot harder on crits. (for the merciless build you showed)
Try 2pc zoo with HH and vigilance 3 BP and foxes all with HS and mods with 1886 determined. Shield and whatever, you won’t regret it
All my level 30 gear is now level 29, even my exotics.
Yup, my shield splinter now has 1.5% damage attribute too
All your 30/29 gear is redundant now, delete it and forget about it. Up roll your exotics back to 40.
