Such a peaceful and pretty design. I have been using a happy planner for a few years and will be switching to try bullet journaling in 2025. I found your channel and I love your layouts. With HP planning it’s lots of stickers so to track my weekly gratitude I put a box somewhere in the layout that I use to either write a list or write a sentence or two, varying it week to week. Maybe in your weekly set ups you can split either your task box or event box to make a gratitude list. Or because you don’t make specific daily boxes, just note your gratitude for the days that you do make as a final notation on that day’s entry.
Oh that’s exciting that you’ll be switching to bullet journaling!❤️ great suggestions with the gratitude lists. I like the idea of adding it at the end of each daily and maybe I could use a special color or border to make it stand out too☺️ make it more of a special ritual. Thanks for the ideas!
Ohh, "A discovery of witches" is one of my all times favorites (the entire trilogy)!! I'm a reader and always looking forward you updating your reading journal and I can't wait to see your next update and your thoughts on a discovery of witches!
Ahh that’s awesome!! Seems like it’s a very well loved series so I can’t wait to discuss more about it in my next video☺️ glad to hear you liked the other books too because I’m about to start the second one in the series!
Love the theme, the pink does look great ☺️ I’m an unapologetic bookworm and this inspired me to both pick up my reading journal, and to root through my tbr to find my next read. It’s not exactly gratitude journaling, but something I’ve been doing is keeping a spread where I write down at least one positive thing that happened or that I did that day - something to combat that negativity bias. It’s similar to the monthly log, numbered down the left of the page with one line for each day.
Ahhh I love hearing that!! Which book did you end up going with?! Also thanks for the affirmation with the pink💗😅 Ooh I love that spread idea, and sounds like a very easy/simple thing to include each month! Negativity bias is soooo real, I love the idea of intentionally finding the positive. Already thinking ahead to including this in my December set up☺️
@@anabruns I started The Magicians by Lev Grossman, and I'm reading The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune with a friend. Haven't made much progress with either yet though 😅
I really love all your bullet journal monthly spreads. You really bring out the beauty in each theme. This one is also so pretty like the rest. I really spend my week just watching every of your monthly setups.
Aww thanks❤️ and yay, it’s so fun to hear from everyone that loves the all souls trilogy! I recently finished the first book, also started the TV show, and am excited to start the second book!! So good
I LOVE your setup, it’s so beautifully understated, the colors are perfect, and it leaves a warm cozy feeling! ❤ As for your stamps, you definitely need to clean them. It’s best to use a stamp cleaner, I use the one from Stampin’ Up. A small bottle lasts a very long time. Try not to use alcohol or soap and water as they can dry out your stamps and water can ruin your wood blocks.
Aww what a sweet comment, glad you enjoyed the set up💓 and THANK YOU for the tips about the stamps!! Good to know what not to use, and I’ll definitely be buying some stamp cleaner soon!
Wow, lots of questions! 😊 I just finished reading Skippy Dies by Paul Murray. I absolutely loved The Bee Sting, Skippy Dies was also really really good, and the ending moved me to tears ❤ (but The Bee Sting was better! 😊) I also use the monthly calendar spread that you use for the same reason - it’s so easy and honestly more practical for me. I do love the variety of spreads I see online but I have stayed very practical with my bullet journal spreads so far - I really want it to be useful for me. And lastly…I started keeping what I call my Good Things journal in January of this year. Every evening I write down the good things that happened that day (and some days I have to really think hard 😂). I genuinely think it has made me more optimistic and more positive in general. Recommend! Love the book theme and the color palette this month ❤ I hope you have a beautiful November too!!
Ooh I hadn’t heard of either of those books you mentioned but found The Bee Sting on Libby and put it on hold! Seems like a really interesting story and wow it has won so many awards- thanks for mentioning it! The good things log sounds like such a good idea! Someone else commented something similar they do, so I’m already thinking ahead to December and including a space for that😊 Also I just want to thank you for all your thoughtful comments Charlotte!! They are always so fun for me to read❤️
I love this theme! I just set up a fairy houses/fairy tales theme for November and then I immediately spotted this and now I really want to add in your lovely autumn leaves/sparkles swoosh doodles... I might be going a little overboard. Oh well! Do you have any suggestions for how you think about designing the page layout? You seem to have a nice balance of white space, boxes and/or headers, and artwork that doesn't feel overwhelming but does still feel like you've laid out 'complete' spreads. My layout-design ability is minimal, so I tend to have layouts that feel a bit blocky. For what it's worth, I've been doing a similar weekly spread with a mini calendar and the basics that can then expand space for daily logs as I need it. In my version, I have an "events and priorities" column under the mini calendar (basically where your first daily log is) that includes a day-by-day breakdown of upcoming events, major tasks (paying bills!), and even a tiny meal log where I just record B/L/D/S and check off when I eat a real meal (versus fast food or junk). It's a really super functional section, and since I usually only have so much energy and time on any given day, having four lines each for the events and priority tasks is usually plenty. (My B5 journal has a nice tall column.) I've run into days when I need more, but those days weren't well thought out to begin with... 🙃It helps me think about any major tasks I want to do that week and when I might have time to pencil them in. You might find your events and tasks sections could be combined if you're running through the available space on your weekly pages too fast. I really like your layout, and I think I'll have to try it. My three-column B5 layout is starting to feel boring.
Ahh haha we were totally on the same wavelength with the fairytale themes!🏰 good question about layouts- I do honestly spend a lot of time staring at my pages before choosing where to put things, so there’s that😅 I think I focus mainly on a) balance and b) moderate variety. What I mean by balance is placing drawing around the pages to where no one area feels over full with either art or color. But I try to keep it from being too overly symmetrical as well if that makes sense. For variety I choose some elements that stay the same (like 2 fonts, same color pallet, same artistic elements) but then I try to build in a little variety so it’s not the same exact thing on repeat. Like slightly different borders or using different formats for different sections. I hope that helps!! Thank you for sharing all the info on your weekly/daily layouts! I like the idea of trying to fit the events/task under the calendar so I have more space for daily logging! So many good ideas. Do you share your BuJo anywhere online? If you do, let me know your handle cause I’d love to see pictures of your theme and your weekly! ☺️
woaaahh that's also my fave book book ( the series were awesome) , Ana! what an inspiring bujo pages. I Loved Matthew and Diana ❤. But now I'm reading cresent city series by Saraah J. Maas and obsessed with it! the theme was so related to my fave relaxing activity.. can i recreate it?😊
Oh that’s awesome!! Yes I love Diana and Matthew too, I’m excited to read the rest of the series☺️ and I’d love for you to recreate any of these spreads!
Yes, yes, clean your stamps. A baby wipe works great. I also have a stamp shammy and a rose water cleaning spray for deep cleaning.
Such a peaceful and pretty design.

What kind of pencil do you use mine is too dark
Clear Point mechanical pencil #2 by paper mate! It’s a pretty standard pencil, but I do intentionally sketch lightly so I don’t have dark lines :)
I hope it's ok with you that while I watched this on my laptop, I took a few printscreen shots.
Yes of course! I hope my spreads can give you some ideas to use :)
