Do you think I can use Aloe Vera extract juice, which is medical grade, in place of gel and get the same consistency? Or should I turn it into gel first? Just trying to save a step. Thank you for your help!
How long can I store still in the refrigerator? Or freezer? Without preservatives I’m concerned the shelf life will be short. Looking for ways to extend the life.
If using on Pregnant, Breast feeding mums, children under 6yrs or the elderly its best to use the lavender type Lavendula Offisinals ( the aloe Vera gel used isn’t 100% so it’s bet to get it directly from the plant)

hi Emilie, thanks for your reception. I tryed it today but the aloe vera didn´t work in it, it could not get mixed in the rest of the oil. And now in the fridge the aloe vera gel is on the bottom of the glas. I used freh aloe vera from a fresh plant. Have you an idea why it didn´t work? Or have other users an idea? Thanks a lot for helping: I will take the lotion in september to use it in my holiday ;-)
Ive never used fresh aloe vera gel in my after sun lotion. So that could be the issue. I love the idea of using fresh aloe vera. If you figure out a way to make it not separate I would love to here! Thanks for watching! :)

I used the real aloe plant. However you need to put it in the blender to get the right consistency to mix with the other ingredients. Mine turned out perfect

Vitamin e is not a preservative though but will definitely try this

Nice recipe, thanks for sharing! But I used fresh aloe vera and it didn't work well. The ingredients didn't mix with the gel.
I was about to try that since I can't find the clear gel 😩
can you use a different wax? say soy? and can you use a different oil other then coconut?
