@8:30 James, you are awesome, but it is always an act of balance for you, on one side having a good reputation and new customers and on the other not having the reputation to easily being taken advantage of. 🤔👍
Bought a topdon 2000 using your discount code James, it started my late father in laws Rover SD1 3500. it hadn't been moved for about 5 months battery as dead as a dodo. Needed a boast as demonstrated, and started, brilliant thanks for the recommendation 👍
Jeez James you do a great quick turnaround for the customer and he thinks its too quick and not a proper job.No pleasing some people.I put Molislip gearbox additive in my Citigo gearbox and its quiet it down on cold start now so the gears aren,t all rattling around until warm.It comes in a small syringe you just squirt in with the oil.
I bought a trike from a dealer for 3k 12months mot 3 new tyres and recent paint job. Looked really good. Found the same trike on eBay listed by the previous owner for £1700. In the 3 weeks I’ve had it. It has broken down 3 times. The drive shaft snapped the exhaust has snapped. And the dealer does not want to know. He wants me to post the exhaust system back to him to have it fixed. But it’s cheaper for me to have it repaired. I’m in south wales he’s in Yorkshire. It’s gonna cost at least £350 to get it back on the road.
Sort codes and account numbers are on every cheque, they always have been. No one can do anything with that information. The only thing that you can do is transfer money into their account, not withdraw it.
You are trustworthy, honest and fair , never lose those qualities. I had somebody come back to me recently after six months with a re con laptop, I stated batteries are not guaranteed on refurbes, turns out battery was issue! The client was very nice over it, I decided to supply a battery as a good will gesture, I guess you might be the same, would rather have a good reputation. Keep going.
This is why most dealers in Australia offer 50% off retail for trades. I.e. a $15,000 car they would retail on their pitch they would offer no more than $7,500. It is very rare to find anyone who would pay more because of warranty jobs and bills often come in for $2,500. Auction cars are about a quarter of retail because of the unknown.
If a dealer claims they have done the work before selling, is it unreasonable to ask to see receipts for the work ? and how would you feel James if this was asked of you? I would personally like it for peace of mind, but i also think it shows a little distrust towards the dealer.
If it was something i couldnt see like a clutch or a cam belt i would def want receipts for peace of mind. Things that are visible i.e new tyre, exhaust etc not so mich as seeing is believing.
I used to spend time with dealers back in the 80's and then, they were making decent money but they were also less than trustworthy unlike you and the gang. I wish you were a bit closer to south wales as I would happily take that Antara off you, especially as you'd knock £500 off for me! Happy christmas
Hello from Ireland again, James. Lovely Audi A1, I haven't seen that Car before, it must have Slipped in, lol. Yes, James, it's so hard to make a Profit, these days, Matey. But, we keep Slogging away, and live in hope, James. Keep up the great work, and brilliant customer service 👏👏👏. Chat soon, my friend. 🙏🙏🎅🎅👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Over how many simulated years should they test it for? The rubbers should last several years but how long can't be guaranteed as they can't truly test the parts longevity exposed to all sorts of environments and temperature over years of real use. That's why most parts only have a 5 or 7 year warranty. Their main concern should be testing the engine, gearbox and suspension components that would blow up or cause accidents... Oh wait obvs didn't work with EcoBoost testing 😅
Any chance of a price for the ford focus with wet belt done, saw in previous videos you can get it done for reasonable price. Need something small familycar foe the mrs...thanks.

As a general I do provide it anyway so not unreasonable but sometimes larger businesses the staff would not have access
It seems now days most repair costs are labour how much is the general rate niwdays seems v expensive?
