I mean...she did lose it for a while. Just not permanently. Her live performances for most of the 2010s were not good - especially by her standards.
She only got her voice back once she chilled out a bit with the oversinging and got some vocal rest. Luckily enough her voice could bounce back, but a lot of singers would permanently lose it if they sang like that. And that's coming from a fan.
Wtf did I just watch? Like I can't believe I've actually converted into a fan with just 1 video.

So about her background. She's an American half-Irish descent half-Ecuadorian from her father's side. She was born in Staten Island but grew up as a young kid in various places like Japan cos her dad was in the army. But once her family left her abusive dad she grew up in Pittsburgh.

Christina's from Staten Island, NY settling in Pennsylvania in 1986. She was an Army brat and constantly moved. Fausto Aguilera was a US Army sergeant,+ Shelly Loraine was a violinist in the American Youth Symphony before becoming a Spanish translator. Her family moved frequently, living in NewJersey and Texas. In 1983, they moved to Japan living in Sagamihara for at least 2 years. During her youth in Pittsburgh metropolitan area, she attended North Allegheny Intermediate High School before leaving to be homeschooled to avoid bullying she experienced at school.

One of the times I saw her in guessing cuz of how close I was to the speakers every time she would do a growl you could literally feel it vibrating. Xtina was born in Staten Island New York.
