In my early 20's i had 1 with this color. How i miss that car now. 40 some yrs later I'm wishing I'd kept her locked up !!!!!! Some of you may have to go look up what a power glide is. Don't let the fact that it was only a two speed fool you ...this car could get out and cruise down on the freeway.. mine was getting well over 20 miles a gallon with the four-barrel and the air conditioning on.at 65_70 mph !! I consider that 2b very impressive considering the weight of the car and its size, but it seemed to be pretty aerodynamic. I don't remember what her gear ratio was but this was no hot rod from corner to corner. and it did not go around corners very well, it just got out and floated along the road and those big o seats,, you could just lay back and put your arm around your sweetie and cruise!!! boys i loved that car!! First time I ' did it in a car' was in this car. But that's not the only reason why I like big bench seats 😂!! Maybe if I mortgage my house I could get another one of those bad girls...( The car you guys !!! )😄
Yes, they did offer AM-FM radios in 1964 and they weren't that uncommon. They need to remove those incorrect fender skirts. They ruin the looks of a beautiful car and they were NOT a factory option!
LOVE THE SOUND OF THAT POWERGLIDE TRANS BEAUTIFUL USA 1 64 SS
Immaculate 64 SS

If I win the lottery and become a millionaire, I’ll look for that car and give it to you😁👍
This is what you call a Drop Dead
Gorgeous Car.
Sounds like a 327’ My uncle had a white 64’ Coupe with 327, in 1965. This one shown is by itself.
the 1964 did not come with a 327, it came with a 283
Came with 230 straight 6 283 v8 and 327 v8
And the most desirable 409

those incorrect and hokey fender skirts! Otherwise a beautiful car. Incorrect interior but still looks good.
Gorgeous american classic.

the 283 did not blow up as easy as a 327 later in life.

If you’ve never driven or rode in a car of this era you don’t know what you’re missing. No newer car can compare with styling or ride.
@@youtold7727 your right on Larry! They flat ass cruise down the interstate with no efforts. That's what they were built for!!!
What more could you ask for you say?? How bout a 409 ?

This is senior citizen abuse. No doubt about it. Am/fm factory radio I doubt it. They did not have fm radios in chevys in 1964.
Yes, they did. They had them from 1963. You are probably too old to remember.
Fender skirts are horrid .
I bet you watch Nascar and WWE
@@joeamesquita6131 Nascar only road races , WWE never .
