Thanks for the compliment. Always seeking factory options to add to it. Most of all just like talking it out and letting people admire start conversation over it. Not gonna low ride this one. Keeping it mostly stock looking with just a twist of chrome and some of my own personal accessories. 👍🏼 Keep safe out there🙏🏼
Thank you for the compliment. Not the best but clean enough for the streets. All home restoration. Check out my other videos and you’ll find one with work being done at home. ✌️
Still looking great Keith after all of your years of ownership. Congratulations on its stunning condition. Pokey and Gumby a nice touch too. Stay safe and in good health my friend
Good memories created. There are still quite a few originals out there but asking price is close or over 100k. Unfortunately I’m leaving this to my son to continue passing down. Cars are supposed to leave you like some of the wife’s do. 🤣🤣 Plus they won’t take half your belongings.
I bought a 1964 327 Powerglide PS/PB/AC Am radio 4-door Impala in 1979 for $175.00 !! One of the best cars I have ever owned !! -- I sold it to a friend and then it was stolen, -- He found the car and had to steal it back at 2:30 a. m. !! --- Yep.
TRK Vibe I started with having cars young too. As time went on I have bought built and sold a lot of the classics that I wish I never had. This one I’ll keep as well as a 64 Falcon and 68 Mustang That I will feature here soon. Just hold on to them after you get them so you don’t have any regrets like a lot of us old timers.
TRK Vibe youngster, you like the right things. Work hard and stay focused, keep a picture of your 64 around you at all times if possible, politely decline any friends who want to get into trouble and keep your head low, study books and read a book and save your money, you will have your 64 SS Convertible and I will watch your RUclips video ...
Thank you for the compliment. As for all the Chrome pieces, while being that I did it triple black I felt that was the only way to show that there was detail and things were taken apart. Otherwise it would somewhat look like I just sprayed over everything. I felt with the chrome it would break it up a little bit and show the detail was spent on it. It’s pretty much stock, but some of my own little details. Not restored to make profit or keep 100% original. I’m sure when I die, and my son gets a hold of it, it’s gonna be turned into low rider anyways. 🤷🏼♂️🤣
I miss my chance to have one 😭😔😭😢 years ago, But I didn't have a garage too put it in...... and to worried about it get'n stolen...God be Praised 🙏🙏at least someone can enjoy these 😉, things, Congratulations 👍👍👍
Beautiful Impala!! I have a ‘64 SS Convertible as well but Ermine White. I want to add power windows. Question, do you add those and if so what kit did you use? Thank you!!
Used factory NOS. Hard to find. Most aftermarket’s are a waist of time and fail. They also strip at gears very easy. You can find guys on Instagram that sell nothing but parts. I wind up purchasing a set of doors just to remove the guts. Remember that older Cadillacs and GM the doors and wing windows are pretty much universal. For the rear quarters they must come off a convertible.
@@sinsationalsounds I appreciate the reply! Ok I’ll look for NOS or maybe I’ll just stick with the stock manual windows. It’s not like I drive the car everyday. Thank you!
Frankie, Thank you for the compliment. With all this Covid shit still on going even my car is been in quarantine. 😃 I sure hope you and your family and all the other people out there good health and have a safe and happy holiday. Can’t wait for all this to be over so all the cars can be back on the street and crowds enjoying life again. ✌🏼🙏🏽
that was my first car when i was 17 daytona blue buckets conv .327 wish i had it now im 69 years old ! i have a 66 biscayne coupe now witha 396 in it yours is beautiful.save it !!!
Gary, I know the feeling. I’ve sold some cars that I regret. Actually all of them were keepers. This 64 along with a few others will be left for my son. Don’t get rid of what you still have, prices are now out of control for anything worth restoring.
@@sinsationalsounds I won't, I had some great times with that car, used to go to drive in movies you know!! Great looking Chevy my brother bought a 65 special order black SS 409 ,three on the tree. Now that's a rare one . Black with red interior
Sounds like you a car guy to die too. I’ll never stop. Mis those drive ins too. Had various 62’s 63’s and 64’s all 2 door impala’s and mostly super sports. No offense but Also a ford guy. Mustangs and building a two dr falcon 3 on the tree for my son. Really not a popular car and very few around.
Don’t worry, I have let go of some real good ones because of the same reason. I didn’t want them outside in the elements going to waste. I need a two bedroom house and a 20 car garage. 😄 This 64 doesn’t get used much but whenever I find additional options I usually try to continue adding to it. Since this video it has gotten front disc brake conversion and upgrading steering to 605 steering box, so it stops and handles 100% better.
You should see it before it was like how it is now. He took so much time and effort to an old car. I just wish i can find my self a 64 aswell im in love with this car truely a dream car id like to have one day hopefully.
Johnny Lopez Hey bro, thanks for the comment. Currently working on upgrading the power steering box and brakes from drum to disc. Will probably make a new video after the new year. Cruise on.
Tracy Kooken Now has front disc brakes chrome booster/ master and updated steering box and all new and powder coated front suspension. Turbo 350 trans is just about to be installed. Baby handles and steers 100% better. After trans and rearend is completed I will post some serious burnout action. 😃✌️
327 and power glide does not do well on todays freeways and fuel prices. 350/350 out preforms them much better. LS currently being setup for yet another change.
Wow I’m stunned!!! This is the most beautiful 64 I’ve seen. Definitely a keeper.
Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful, Lovely,Lovely, Lovely
Love the video I'd feel like like Back to the Future.
That’s one beautiful 64 just love it
Tuxedo Black looks super tight on this car, makes all the chrome stand out really nice. Congrats to the owner of this car. It's a mean machine

Excellent job, every last detail I would want in a 64 SS Convertible
TRK Vibe yes I’m 14 now and I hope that when I get older they don’t get more expensive but there’s one problem I live in Germany
mybest friends brother in law had one just like it except it was red sweet car it had a '327 loved driving that car and it was a convertible
Good memories.
Bet he wish he kept it. The prices of these convertibles are outrageous now.
Beauty, love the power options
I never seen a more beautiful car im my life
Timeless and so clean.
Beautiful car!!
I love the fact how is all org nice work. beautiful classic car.

Door went 'clack' power windows up and bown effortlessly, engine singing nicely
Sinsational sounds be cool if you could stream text across the screen of all the parts and mild custom you did with your spoken dialogue, thanks bro!

Anthony Williams
No dash kit.
All original Dash. just chrome plated instrument cluster housing as well as factory tilt steering column.
Does it hop?
