Oak Tree except for when she locks them out of the house unsupervised in the summer heat for hours, or when she doesn't show to pick them up or answer her phone cuz she is in another state at an award show, or when they're outside alone unsupervised and she has no idea how long they were outside, or when they habe unexplained bruises in weird places repeatedly, or she refuses to get them medical care or to even use the nebulizer prescribed after the grandma gets the child care, OR when they confide in their grandma, and I quote, "Nana, David punched me." and simulate several punches to the head... Seriously, how do you not feel bad for her children? Especially Kaiser?
Oak Tree also, when this commenter referred to "neglect of her child" getting her where she is today, she was obviously referring to Jace as it is a hearing for his court case. And please tell me it is not your position that she has not been neglectful of at least HIM?! She herself even admitted it, when she said to Barbara that she was grateful for her because if she had not stepped up, "Jace would have been in foster care."

From what I read there was some sort of loop hole because she had a medical marijuana card from California. It's bullshit. The correct people (MTV and Dr.Drew) need to start calling her out on her shit or she will never get better.

I’m not saying it’s right to do any type of drug while pregnant. It’s not good at all. But I’m pregnant at the moment and my doctor says you can smoke weed, because it helps with nausea. But it’s something he doesn’t recommend, it causes horrible child development.

David is the blame for this, he tells Jenelle how to treat Barb and she does it. David can't stand that he can't be in control of Jace to, if you'll notice it's him doing everything like taking pictures of Barb and recording her without her permission. This guy has been doing these kind of things since jenelle got with him, he was talking to jenelles ex's and trying to make decisions like he was the baby mama..lmao. He's another Matt, and equally as thirsty for attention but can't stand the fact that he can't be in control of Barb and Jace..
Yes Jace is so much better off without David and Jenelle in his life. The sad thing is that Jace loves his mama but he can't get no time with her because David has to be right up their asses, he is so afraid something is gonna happen that he will miss out on.

It just seems like David just says things he thinks Jenelle wants to hear. He doesn't mean it. He doesn't seem sincere. She has horrible taste in men. I feel bad for her.
She is so selfish in my opinion. I think Jace is good where he is. She just wants her son to look better, but Jace even said himself he doesn't like going over there. And with them having a new baby, he doesn't get their attention at all. But again, we're judging based solely on what we see on the show.
Tori • lol oh no, you're right. Kaisers grandma just filed for full custody due to bruises being all over his body and her daughter tested positive for pot. So, while we only do see 20 mins of their lives each week, 20 mins is enough to make a good judgement.

I cannot wait to see her reaction when the judges denies her bid for custody. On what planet did this girl actually think a judge was going to side with her? I mean, c'mon Jenelle! Put down the pipe and look around! Your life is a damn mess and Jace deserves stability.
And to make it worst, Jenelle is fighting back and is now blaming her Mother for this entire thing. (I'm serious.) Barbara is not the best parent ever, but she is more stable than Jenelle. She doesn't need a man to be by her side, she cares for Jace and puts him into therapy, and she deals with her daughter's drama the best she can.
If there is even the slightest possibility that this child is being abused and if these charges are in any way justified, I do not agree with MTV filming this and using this for entertainment. There should be boundaries. MTV should not support someone who possibly endangers her child for their own personal gain. This is horrific and sad. How can anyone in their right mind justify this? I mean I understand that drama is often being constructed to make these shows more interesting, but you should take this more seriously. Child abuse is no laughing matter. It is not supposed to be entertaining. This show and the people behind it disgust me, for not taking this more serious.
Honestly the more I think about it. Letting people see how the people on the show treat their children badly and possible omitting good moments or doing it the other way around to get people actively worried for the children's safety in this show. Having fans discuss how fit of a mother these moms are and who should be allowed to keep their babies. What has this turned into? Do people know no shame?

That conversation at the beginning could not have been more manipulative I mean it should literally be used in classes teaching women about narcissistic abusive men. She says “court is giving me grey hairs” he immediately says your MOM is giving you grey hairs, then says you don’t deserve it babe. He puts anger towards her mom into her head then gives her reassurance that she’s a great person, he’s the only one really there for her, and that everything everyone else puts her through is unnecessary. He’s known to be abusive as all hell both verbally and physically but is extremely sweet to her calling her babe saying she needs her rest just being the utmost caring person. Just in that short clip he blatantly divided her from family and reassured her he’s the only one for her. He played his game so well to the T and all these years later she’s still at his beck and call following his lead. He created his perfect victim and he’s so textbook you can literally see it happening. Scary tbh
