So (Kristi) said something along the lines of "people only get to see an hour into our lives. We live this everyday" Dr Drew's line of questioning was asking if Jade and her family weren't concerned about a relapse happening at some point and then Jade's mom got defensive. Dr Drew kept on emphasising how something needs to be actively done by Jade's mom to deal with her situation. If you've been following the show, you know how defensive she tends to get even when Jade pleads with her about something, tries to discuss something or calls her out. This scene takes place after Jade, her mom and Grandma were done with their segment. Jade's mom got off stage, mad and she felt like she was being interrogated by Dr Drew and Jade was painted out to be this angel. So Jade stated that Dr Drew has called her out and grilled her on the stage and things escalated from then on. Jade's mom felt like Jade wasn't defending her and she was tired of constantly being scrutinised by the world and Dr Drew. Jade said she didn't have to be on the show, on the low telling her how she should've been prepared for what's to come instead of taking offense and victimising herself. She wasn't the only one who has and continues to face scrutiny. Those were the points made by Jade. It continued to get heated and the mom was on her way out. Now the divide is about how Jade is being disrespectful and so on and so forth. We've seen in previous seasons how Jade has tried to come through for her parents, give her mom the benefit of the doubt and help them out. Many people feel like her mom and baby daddy are using her. I won't get into that but all I was saying was I just think Jade snapped cause she was tired of her mom victimising herself. They don’t have a healthy relationship, and I think from how Jade continues to work on herself for her daughter, surely we can see that she's doing her best to be an adult and not necessarily blame her parents for how she was treated as a child.

I like how Jade handled the mother's crazy antics. I’m Australian and have friends that moved over from Canada when their kids were around 2-3yrs old. The parents still have Canadian accents but also both work full time and their kids have been in daycare a lot and then primary school and out of school care so their accents now actually sound Australian. It just comes down to who spend a lot of time around in your formative years as to what accent you adapt. Another friend of mine spoke like the characters off a tv show with a strange American accent because sadly her parents rarely spoke to her and she learnt to talk from tv and that accent has just stuck with her through her life.
My nephew and niece were in foster care for a few years when they were little. The foster family they lived* with the longest spoke spanish and my niece left there with an accent. Still says a few words with it and she's now 12.

@Hannah Adam Okay let me give context. Jade, her mom and grandma were being interviewed at the reunion by Dr Drew. The conversation went from (Sean) and his addiction, to Jade's mom's situation. So (Kristi) said something along the lines of "people only get to see an hour into our lives. We live this everyday" Dr Drew's line of questioning was asking if Jade and her family weren't concerned about a relapse happening at some point and then Jade's mom got defensive. Dr Drew kept on emphasising how something needs to be actively done by Jade's mom to deal with her situation. If you've been following the show, you know how defensive she tends to get even when Jade pleads with her about something, tries to discuss something or calls her out.
This scene takes place after Jade, her mom and Grandma were done with their segment. Jade's mom got off stage, mad and she felt like she was being interrogated by Dr Drew and Jade was painted out to be this angel. So Jade stated that Dr Drew has called her out and grilled her on the stage and things escalated from then on. Jade's mom felt like Jade wasn't defending her and she was tired of constantly being scrutinised by the world and Dr Drew. Jade said she didn't have to be on the show, on the low telling her how she should've been prepared for what's to come instead of taking offense and victimising herself. She wasn't the only one who has and continues to face scrutiny. Those were the points made by Jade. It continued to get heated and the mom was on her way out.
Now the divide is about how Jade is being disrespectful and so on and so forth. We've seen in previous seasons how Jade has tried to come through for her parents, give her mom the benefit of the doubt and help them out. Many people feel like her mom and baby daddy are using her. I won't get into that but all I was saying was I just think Jade snapped cause she was tired of her mom victimising herself. They don’t have a healthy relationship, and I think from how Jade continues to work on herself for her daughter, surely we can see that she's doing her best to be an adult and not necessarily blame her parents for how she was treated as a child.

I’m Australian and have friends that moved over from Canada when their kids were around 2-3yrs old.
The parents still have Canadian accents but also both work full time and their kids have been in daycare a lot and then primary school and out of school care so their accents now actually sound Australian.
It just comes down to who spend a lot of time around in your formative years as to what accent you adapt.
Another friend of mine spoke like the characters off a tv show with a strange American accent because sadly her parents rarely spoke to her and she learnt to talk from tv and that accent has just stuck with her through her life.
My nephew and niece were in foster care for a few years when they were little. The foster family they lived* with the longest spoke spanish and my niece left there with an accent. Still says a few words with it and she's now 12.
