    Stunning bamboos groves/forests!
    What a joy to see, and my imaginary walk through it is so peaceful and thought provoking. Have you clipped the lower sprouts from the canes to keep it so clean looking-and so you are able to walk through without tripping or harming your face?
    A lot of work I'm sure but so worth it. Well done and how wonderful that you have the forethought to have planted this.
    What is the music, its also beautiful.

    Why bother posting a video with LOUD music to dominate the conversation? Beautiful chimes if you can hear them.

    BTW, bamboo shoots are edible, but only a few are tasty. Moso is one of them. It's very important that you cook them properly as they are high in cyanide. Properly cooking them removes the cyanide.

    I've been trying to find a bamboo that I have not found for a long time had it once and lost it anyhow it's a dark green bamboo with a slight purple tinge to it or purple veins I should say and I used to know the name of it but now I forgot the name of it so I've been watching RUclips videos hoping to find the bamboo and be reminded of what the name is but I think it's one of the most beautiful looking bamboos trees I've ever seen or where I should really say trees but if you ever see this type of bamboo that I'm just describing I think you'll totally understand what I'm getting at it's rare it's difficult to find it only grows in a particular country that I forgot I think I want to say and South Korea I believe but anyhow it is a wonderful looking bamboo like I say it's a dark green with the slight tinge of purple

    Does he successfully grow clumping bamboo or is it all the running variety?

  • @Khamomil
    @Khamomil 7 лет назад +1

    Did he say what surface area he planted? I'd like to know what's the smallest area for a grove. I know there's no hard and fast rule but how small is still worth it? What surface does a clump need and what distance between clumps? An how much does the initial plant spread oer 5 years?

      They are Running Bamboo, takes a lot of work each shooting season to keep in your boundry of land-I tell everyone I have a Bamboo Bomb growing, Vivax, Moso and Japanese Timber. When I pass I know it will take over all my 4 Acres of land.

    Ashame that no one still has not gone in to get rid of background music! I really cannot hear much of anything Stewart is saying. Otherwise would be really informative. Could not watch much at all, but hope Stewart (Stuart) talked about invasiveness of some species, which I hoped to hear. Thanks anyway.
