Lyanna is 10. When Stannis receives the note from the Mormonts he says something to the effect of look at what this wretched girl of 10 said!! Still to young for Jon at least at this point. Maybe when she is 17-18 and Jon is approaching 30 they can hook up without the ick factor.
She'd outsmart that hag in her 20 already at that pace.
Although I seen a lot of kids being way ahead of their age, almost all of them end up losing that, they burn too bright and extinguish fast. Getting ahead of time is one thing, but keeping it up is whole another level.

I wish she'd interacted with every single character on the show, and sass them all out to seven hells and back. Diana Rigg was such a delight to watch as Olenna, and her interacting with other talented actors on the show would've been great to behold. Anyway, I will keep on believing she survived with an antidote she'd kept at the ready in the room, and escaped soon after, even if we don't see her on the show anymore.
I was hoping she would survive for one scene at least with Jon and Davos.
I agree. I would have liked to see her meeting Sansa again and give her some more advice but also to aknowledge how much she has changed since their first meeting.
I really hope she found some way to avoid death since we never really see her die which is very unusual for Game of Thrones and is secretly plotting her true revenge.

I find it stunning what a great pick Diana Rigg and Natalie Dormer are for acting two relatives. They resemble each other well in certain expressions, like smile, at least for my eye.

She is amazing. She knows Jaime will have mercy on her because it's in his nature. Then she proceeded to say something to Jaime that'll get him pissed off enough to get him to leave the room so that he never actually sees her die. She takes the antidote. She's one sly fox 😏

We don't actually see Lady Olenna die. I know she took the poison but her death was off-screen so it's possible she survived as there's no way she wouldn't have learned something about poisons and antidotes (she also met with the Sands so may have picked up knowledge from them).

Many of the supporting characters are of such high caliber that you wish they had their own show. The life of the Q of Thorns. The life of Little Bear. The life of Varis. Etc. It is a huge part of what makes this show something extra special and wonderful.
Lady Olenna's sassiest moments = EVERY SCENE SHE WAS IN
Lady Olenna was a political "veteran" of sorts and an absolute delight on the show. Always sharp as a dagger and just about unshakeable in everything she did; a truly formidable player in the game of thrones, without ever losing that hint of 'old grandma'.
She was awesome. She delivered lines like Ser Arthur Dayne swung swords.
You cut off the "sword swallower" comment too soon. Should have left it until she said what she did about brothers and sisters!

They really did Olenna's death well. As much as I hate to see her go, her house is already extinct the moment the other Tyrells died. Still, the way she just stares at Jaime after telling him that she was the one who killed Joffrey was staggering. She didn't have a sword but she stabbed Jaime through and through like he was a barbecue.
And when a Tyrell farts it smells like a rose. Priceless

One of my favourites was Olenna's first meeting with Brienne - "Well, aren't you just MARVELLOUS! I heard you knocked my grandson into the dirt like the silly little boy he is." For Brienne, so used to being dismissed and ridiculed by so many, to get such admiration from a formidable lady like Olenna was a rare moment, and you could see how much it meant to her.
Gonna miss Lady Olenna! Diana Rigg is superb! Nice seeing her again! I remember her from the "Avengers"!☺

Albagaga fair enough so then maybe this lil exchange between ollena and Jaime talking about how bad cersei is ya know olenna is basically telling all at this moment because she knows that's it and she chooses to say two things that she killed Joffrey and cersei is a monster...it def impacted Jaime I think 💭 to send him either to his death or the other side hopefully it's the latter because he's my favorite
Albagaga- I think "hate" is a strong word and I'm not at all convinced that Jaimie harbors that much ill will toward Tyrion. He knows that it was his lover's/monster's doing that forced Tyrion away from their family by her life long hatred of him for things over which he had absolutely no control (being a dwarf and because Joanna Lannister died giving birth to him). He told Bronn that he would kill Tyrion if he ever saw him again BEFORE the monster blew up the Sept of Baelor, and their last remaining child took his life because of her actions. Perhaps this is wishful thinking on my part but I'm still holding out hope that Jaimie is in fact the Valonqar of Maggy the Frog's prophecy and he chokes the life out of Cersei.
But the thing is, EVERYTHING went left in the Lannister family the moment Tyrion was falsely accused of Joffrey's poisoning. Tywin was murdered, because he sentenced Tyrion to death (even though he knew deep down that his son was innocent), then Tommen committed suicide because of his own mom's stupidity, then Myrcella was poisoned... Tyrion's sentencing was the downfall of house Lannister and all this just from ONE single move from Lady Olenna. Now there are just two remaining and I can already predict Euron Greyjoy WILL find a way to take the power or have Cersei killed if they ever get married. But yeah, I don't think Tyrion and Jaime can rekindle, too much happened.
