Brian you make the best flies Ive seen. Especially big flies, which is what I love the most. Thanks brother!
It's crazy to see how hooks have evolved along with the materials. Love the videos.
Love that color blending! Awesome fly.
Oooh, got to get the belly bumpers now. Great tie and you are the best at breaking the rules Brian!
Love the mixing/blending technique.
Love this series and love those belly bumper hooks!
Brian, thanks again for another wonderful fly.
Brian, I want to see you TRY to get that thing hung up on a log or boulder! That bucktail wing work on top looks like a fantastic weed guard. Great tie & great color choices!
Love this patten, just got sone of those hooks, now it's time to tie!! Thanks for the inspiration!
I'm just getting in to fly tying. Thank you for the videos
Great fly, can't wait to tie one👍
Another great looking fly thanks for sharing
Love it. This was the first one of his I ever bought the hooks for. Keep it up.
Cool video, cool fly, cool guy. Thanks Brian.
Killer smallmouth pattern!!!
Very cool brian...thanks..see ya joe
This is a very Cool series Brian Thanks.
Yep. It looks pretty cool!
Awesome sauce fly! Nice tie.
Innovators like you, Kelly, Chocklett, Popovics and Bob Clouser keep the art and science of fly tying and fishing interesting and fun for all of us. Keep up the great work and thanks for the series.
Always love your videos. Thank you.
Thanks Brian. This series is great!
Nice tie. Enjoyed the video.
Like the video, do most of my tying in the winter and a lot of crappie jigs. Thanks
Very cool 😎
Another awesome fly!
Beautiful fly. Don't know if it'll catch what I wish for, but I'd live to try it!
Fish for😂
Another great video! Looks like you might have fly tyers elbow.😄
Great series!
Really cool all water fly. I would use it in cold water, warm water and salt water.
Looks like a great pike fly here on the Mississippi
The fly is cool. Loads of materials that blend up nicely.
I like it, almost like it becomes a messed up deceiver
Not only will that catch Trout but if you added a little chartreuse and have a Fire Tiger look and catch Bass also. Thanks, Bubba
Those eyes really change the entire fly in a super cool way!
Brian, thanks for this series. Years ago, guys like Kelly and Blaine decided to break the rules, and it fundamentally changed the streamer world. Thanks for carrying on their work. Keep 'em coming man!
Killer looking fly!🔥
Really nice fly
Looks like a traditional Salmon tube Fly! Excellent!
I’ve not seen those belly bumper hooks in my fly shop yet.. maybe in the spin cast section? Cool fly!
They may not carry them.....but I bet they would order some!
Great fly!
Great fly
Cool Fly, really enjoy the Videos
Awesome fly! Thx!
Those eyes!
Slick bug!
Looks good
I knew recycled beer would get worked in!
Enjoy the videos
Super Dope!!!!
❤always Brian good work
Great looking streamer.
Love those eyes.
So they do still make keel hooks. I was discussing it somewhere the other day and we didn't think they still made them. Good to know. Thanks MFC. As for the fly, it's cool but then again look who invented it and who's tying it, how could it not be. Hope all is well down there in the Ozarks Brian. BTW what did you do to your elbow?
Brilliant tying as always do you not find the head of your vice a bit cumbersome ?
The fly looks great and the video (like all of yours) was informative and fun to watch! I must have missed what rule you broke, and what’s the belly bumper hook do for you? What’s up with the taped up elbow???
@billkeenum1303 There is actually quite a bit going on here. The original didn't have a feather tail, didn't use any filler in the underbody, also didn't use any filler under the head (the Magnum Dubbing) and didn't really have eyes. I also decided to keel-weight this one for good measure. 😉
@@billkeenum1303 And......tennis elbow sucks.
Hey Brian, like a dressed stacked blonde?😂
Tennis elbow? Casting elbow? Tying elbow? Hopefully not too serious.
Keep the rules breaker series coming.
@flyfishingtheozarks been there with tennis elbow...musky fly fishing...
@@robhaase6810 Tennis elbow........ugh
Getting older sucks, flies still amazing though!
The gap is too shallow - will lose a fair amount of fish - got to make the gap significantly bigger. How do I know - many, many years of fishing many different styles - it’s too much like a bass worm hook with shallow gap - they just don’t work well period - not a hook I would bring over from the bass world. Now the Brammer/ Monaghan hook from Ahrex is another story - great pike hook that can be chucked in wood piles and funky structure
Also: Have had tennis elbow from fly casting - took a year to overcome it - using one of those semi hard rubber tubes to do reverse twisting exercises worked best to strengthen the muscles correctly after it had time to heal to lessen inflammation
Gang gang ❤❤
What kinds of fish have you targeted with this fly?
What rules were broken?
Nice tie. Annoying music
