Awesome video. Question - What would you like to see Image Line improve to make FL Studio more attractive for film composers? My suggestions are: - FL Studio's video syncing option isn't too ideal for film composers. For ex. Logic has a "movie sync" function where you can load a video inside Logic and fit it on the timeline so that it syncs with the arrangement and plays along with it. Logic also has an "Easy Tempo Automation" function. Film scoring has moments where you may have to automate the tempo to create tension, exitement, release and other emotion which Logic allows you to do by drawing and recording the automation curves via midi. - We need more post-production tools. - Image-Line should add more arrangement-based rather than pattern-based composition options and functionality for composers.

While FLEX doesn’t have all the capabilities I want, it still does super well! Worked on a song recently with an Electro Swing styled and used Flex. And while I had to get creative to get some of the sounds it doesn’t make, I still was happy with it.

When you said stock plugins, I expected I already have everything I need, but Dark Orchestra library is not included and isn't free either... ts ts ts - awesome track tho
with it being titled stock i was looking forward to how you were going to tackle some of the percussion and things. immediately being hit by the "so i used this from this sample pack" alongside the "some of these are paid but definitely worth it" was a bit of a bummer and to me kind of defeats the purpose of this whole challenge if you wanna call it as such. Still a nice result but i can imagine especially beginners who are just looking to get started with what they have would be bummed out to immediately be bombarded with non stock stuff
I barely used sample packs though. That being said yes the paid packs in FLEX are mainly what I used because they are made for trailer music. They are $20 a piece so if you are interested in orchestral music in FL this will go a long way but I see your point.
How did you get FLEX to work?? Mine just says Offline even though I have a legit paid Producer Edition and I’ve NOT moved FLEX folders and such inside of my PC. Am I the only one with this issue after FL Studio 24.0?
I just tried to match it to the trailer music but the trailer has different song through out so there was really no BPM to be found. It was just whatever fit the most. :)
Really cool to now be able to make orchestral music with stock plugins. FLEX is definitely a game-changer :) Enjoy!
