That is interesting to hear this. I would never think she felt like that. I thought her character and how she played it was great and it fit beautifully the whole dynamics of that show..it was a great show :)
Almost kinda meta that Britta became the "unfunny" one in the group. It's like she took what she had and ran with it.

Sounds like it was a true ensemble cast, and for Ms. Jacobs, like a virtual UCB experience. She was definitely funny in her own right in it.

First of all, thank you Sam for letting people talk and also for releasing a new part of this interview.
I love how Gillian took the job and developed Britta so naturally, especially because she'd never experienced comedy before.
The transition from season 1 to 2 was bad, but she did develop well from there.
I took a class on humor, but quit after the lesson on setups.
The professor was so old.
But she knew what to do. She lived in New York!

Community actually drew attention to the fact the actress, and even her character were so awkward with comedy... they zoomed in on it... as the point. They used the worst takes to highlight the fact "She's the Worst".
Nah it was a joke within the Community study group. The group knew she made little mistakes, but loved her for being real and loyal and likeable and helping
she accidentally coins "celegreat"... she's the best.
