``23 Honor Flight

Just a small portion of the highlights from our veterans Honor Flight to our nation's capital. This was a much-appreciated welcome home that we never got after our service. Sometimes emotional and very moving, sometimes comical in the way veterans would make light of whatever they could. It was a three day, 2 night gift from Bay Area Honor Flights never to be forgotten. My sincere thanks to all who made this journey of discovery and reconciliation possible.

Jerry thanks for this. I was in DC for veterans day and it was so crowded I missed alot. Where were the statues of the soldiers marching with the rain coats on? You look great in front of the Wall.

Hi Lorin. The statue soldiers in their rain ponchos was at the Korean war memorial on the capital mall, not far from the Lincoln memorial. Hope you have a mild winter.
