Amazing work. Your new subscriber watching from Toronto, Canada. Originally from Africa, but now living abroad. I miss Africa so much, although I was just there recently 😅 Eastleigh is one of my favourite places in Nairobi, Kenya. Thanks for sharing the video with us, Dolphine ❤
I am still amazed by how or whether the county government has any plans to upgrade the infrastructure in Eastleigh including roads, drainage, sewer/water lines, walking paths and parking. Even either requiring buildings parking garages or just have more parking areas a little outside the busy areas of Eastleigh.. It just doesn't make any sense. Somali business man can come together and lobby for these types of developments.
Eastleigh has grown very fast in a span of the last 4 years majority of skyscrapers residential were not there. Thanks for update next do on parklands nairobi
But what will happen? It's gonna be too densely populated with a deficit of amenities like sewerage, parking, water, and congestion. Roads are so narrow and in poor condition. People too many. Wonder if these plans were correctly approved ?? It may degenerate into a highrise slum.
I walked through this area a few days ago. It was around where Rage and Arafat towers are and even went inside some of these buildings. They were a lot nicer than I expected them to be. Whoever is building these towers is actually doing a decent job in terms of construction. They all have modem lifts and they took great concern for the residents in terms of safety. The biggest problem though is open sewer right outside of these buildings. I am still thinking about buying 1-2, if possible, bedroom units and renting them. They are in high demand because you can do all your shopping a 2-3 minute walk away.
Wow wow wow....This is amazing... but I would suggest that they provide spaces for recreational activities and some greenery... Anyway we are happy for growth and the revenue eastleigh generates for our country

Hi Dolphine. Thanks alot for this video and for telling the Somali business success in Kenya. I recently moved to Nairobi and I am living in one of these high rises in Parklands. One major issue to consider is in the event of an emergency like a fire, there are no emergency escape routes. There is simply no plan at all.
