As someone who has dated online, it’s NEVER been a good experience for me. I always create a profile and delete within a month because the quality of men is usually trash. Then, if you’re a beautiful woman, the men are shocked that you’re actually online dating 😂😂 they’ll be like, “why are you on this app?? You don’t look like you’d have trouble meeting someone”. That told me that I don’t need to be online dating lol.

I met my girlfriend online and we recently finished a marriage class at church in which most of the engaged couples (about 7 or 8) out of 12 met online. It’s definitely possible, and I don’t think it’s fair to paint everyone on the apps with one brush.
I 100% agree with you, you can’t tar every man on those apps as all being crazy. You can meet crazy men in real life. I like TG but there’s a lot of scaremongering with these videos. Online dating isn’t for everyone but it’s not fair to judge people who use it either.

However as a woman looking around church and christian circles, my view is that there are too many single christian women around to have to resort to online - too many! Sociopaths, psychopaths, and just plain creeps would have an easy time finding women from their couch in the basement with little to no social skills so these sites are what they would flock to. Also getting married is not the end all be all, plenty people marry for the sake of getting married and end up in a bad position. I met a man on line recently. We have been talking and vibing . I was so excited like I think I found the one. Then yesterday he told me a he murdered two men when he was 17 because they shot at him . One of those man he killed with his bear hands. He went to prison for 20 years and he is now reformed . I blocked his ass so fast omg. I’m not trying to judge but what can I do with a x convict with murder on his record. And what if he not reformed and he get mad at me. Was in a small population college town and once i moved to ATL, kept using it to see who's available in the major part of ATL. Issue with the apps is, I'm a traditional man who prefers approaching women in person and have had better success doing so- the app came from boredom and impatience. This was a lesson that was painful to hear but worth it. I believe a message that saved my life. I believe in me and know if I work on myself I can meet someone the old fashioned way. Deleted my last dating app and not going back. More so thought about my kids too. I'm not putting them in harms way, endangering their lives or traumatizing them either.

I’ve heard Tony say this more than one time. This message came right on time to confirm what I’ve already been feeling. I tried for a few days & it definitely was kinda awkward and just didn’t sit right talking to a stranger online. && it’s too many pre cautions you have to do to ensure your safety. Tony has warned time after time about online dating, and I totally agree. My sister used to online date and it always went wrong, it’s dangerous. Thank God she came to her senses.
Its so weird online dating today. I have finally quit all my dating apps for good. All I was getting was liars, weirdos, crazies and married men. Seriously over it. I'm not going back. Tony your words are golden and important ❤❤

Yep it’s been a horrible experience. Met the gay guy, low self esteem and the bum. I got off and never looked back. Not even on dating sites only, also Facebook and Instagram.
My husband says the same thing….that “men online see women as desperate and they looking for easy sex and/or a come up…some money or a place to stay.”
I thank God we met at a work event and I STILL prayed earnestly for God’s wisdom and discernment! 🙏🏾

I have friends that have tried to convince me to try online dating again, but every time I think about it I began to feel physically tired, because I can’t deal with no more drama in my life. Ladies, please, PLEASE listen to what this man is trying to tell us. From personal experience I can attest that online dating is shenanigans at best. I've personally been stalked, threatened, had to obtain an ex parte, this person tried opening cards in my name, the FBI got involved... it was a complete mess and I'm still trying to bounce back financially from the tens of thousands of dollars this person stole from me and the emotional distress. I still look over my shoulder from time to time. Do yourselves a favor: listen to Tony. Stop being desperate like I was, learn to love yourself, work on yourself and steer as far from online dating as you possibly can!

I met a man on line recently. We have been talking and vibing . I was so excited like I think I found the one. Then yesterday he told me a he murdered two men when he was 17 because they shot at him . One of those man he killed with his bear hands. He went to prison for 20 years and he is now reformed . I blocked his ass so fast omg. I’m not trying to judge but what can I do with a x convict with murder on his record. And what if he not reformed and he get mad at me. I can’t take the chances of finding out. I do however feel bad , these ppl do their time then when they are done society do not except them back. 😅

Everytime I tried online dating (for the right reasons), it never worked. Men are too perverted and they are out there to use as many women as they can. Good talk here brother Tony, will admit - I've used online dating at one point. Was in a small population college town and once i moved to ATL, kept using it to see who's available in the major part of ATL. Issue with the apps is, I'm a traditional man who prefers approaching women in person and have had better success doing so- the app came from boredom and impatience. Appreciate the talk - staying off the apps and will continue looking for my wife in person 👍🏿

i agree, stay off those dating apps. make sure you all are doing a background check on the people you are dating as well. I found the story TG is talking about and apparently the guy was charged with murder in 2020 and the charges were dropped & he was charged in 2022 for having a shank in jail.

I saw a woman in the comments say she asked her partner has he ever tried it and he said “no because people (online dating) aren’t serious.” Another woman said all you will find is shenanigans AT BEST. These two comments sum up my online dating experiences. I’ve tried one or two sites briefly. Not for me. And those are best case scenarios. The horror stories are way too common. I’ll pass. This was a lesson that was painful to hear but worth it. I believe a message that saved my life. I believe in me and know if I work on myself I can meet someone the old fashioned way. Deleted my last dating app and not going back. More so thought about my kids too. I'm not putting them in harms way, endangering their lives or traumatizing them either.

That's how we achieve healthy relationships. That's why many relationships today are doomed and out of order because many people did not follow God's order. Many times I thought of online dating when I was single, for some reason I never got to it. I me my husband at work.
Online dating is like going to Primark expecting to find a Chanel bag. Is not totally impossible, but the chances are slim to none. But people keep going because there is so much stuff there so they keep their hopes up. But instead of finding the Chanel bag they only find cheap bags that fall apart after a few weeks. So no online dating is a waste of time and energy and can really drag a woman down and create frustration and negativity that will stay with her and repel good men in real life. Better to stay away from those apps.

If this is the same case, it was here in Houston. The young lady also shared she was transgender which she told the man when they first began speaking. So, he still met up with her knowing all of the information, based upon the messages, with the intentions of slitting her throat. In my professional opinion, he was trying to disassociate himself with the part of him that is actually his truth. Your points are spot on!!
