The 16th notes in 2:03 isn't just ringing. I don't know the musical term for it, but Joe singles out the notes, with a mute, right before every note, so it sounds like a staccato.
Yeah... I love the videos, don't get me wrong, but Joe's sound is just out of this world. Nothing wrong with Benny's sound, but it's not making me soil my undergarments like Joe does.

they tune it like old James Brown tunes, which are also tuned slightly sharp. i think they (the James Brown crew) had an out of tune piano they used to tune to, that's my guess
when we get to the "Mozart" part, which is less busy and we can here clearly the long notes, it's easy to see it's out of tune the Vulf went for maximum realism on this one

One string is out of tune... proposital ?
The song is in a different tuning than the usual A=440, so the bass isn't in tune, but it's in tune with the song he's playing. it's intentional.
