In comparison with Luke, Nicholas has been really low for the last few weeks. He is not progressing at all. Can't understand why he wasn't the bottom 2 last week. I will be really surprised if the British public prefer him instead Luke.
you see even though he messed up - he has more emotion and fight in him then any other contestant and that's why he is where he is. voice cracking or not. Love him ♥
OK, not as good as his others, but I think that's down to Louis choosing a song that's a bit beyond him at the moment. It would be grossly unfair if he were to be sent home because of this, because he and especially Sam have been the most consistent so far and have not yet been in the bottom two, whereas Rough Copy and Luke have (the latter twice, though my preference is for Rough Copy to go).
Don'worry nicky despite messing up a little bit you still finished the song great and you're still safe, so that means lots of people believe in you. Even great performers mess up but what matters most is how you handle it. Put it behind you but learn from it and focus on next week's performances. Prove that you deserve those votes and earn more votes. All the best to you nicky and no matter what happens, keep your feet on the ground. God bless you and your family.
This was by far the worst performance from him in the competition ... I love him and really hope that he could go into the finals ... but I am starting to worry ... I think people may disagree but I thnk he kinda peaked in the auditions and the first few weeks ... I hope he could bring out a performance like A Thousand Years in the finals (if he could be in) 'cause that brought a tear to my eye ...

I think not. Nicholas has a pure voice along with an audience that certainly fits an audience that little is available. I think he has a bright future.
Stephen Green He IS good -- though that was definitely NOT his best performance. He is so young -- just turned 17 a week or so ago. Amazing for anyone his age -- the pressure must be immense. I enjoy him -- he has a beautiful voice -- and he does Scotland proud each week. :)

The thing is Nicholas has the whole of Scotland backing him up... so I'm guessing that's why Nicholas has never ended up in the bottom two.
