This young man is my #1 favorite singer of all time, his rendition of "A thousand years" just blows me away. When one cannot get a song out of one's mind for days and then wake's up thinking of that song, that's talent. I hope the world of music has been good to him since the show ended. This kid is a global superstar. Such an incredible talent.

I think his ace-in-the-hole in this particular environment was his palpable vulnerability and sheer talent.
