Probably one of the greatest female performers of all time on a talent show at only 16 years old. What she accomplished was by far epic.

She’s very good but not in the same league as many current and past female vocalists.

@@HGee420this kind of talent is not as common as what you think….. because nowadays, almost everything is auto tuned, reverbed, playbacked, or enhanced in someway. You need to remember that, when you’re watching people sing. Even most live shows are not truly live. But once in a while, you will come across a great singer, who is truly amazing without any of the enhancement. That is the one thing I miss about my childhood…growing up in the 90s, it was an amazing time.
Angelina Jordan and Louisa Johnson are 2 that come to mind immediately. their souls are amazing. Angelina was 13 when she stunned the audience into a moment of silence before the cheering roared and Lousia was a huge powerhouse at 17
I will never understand how she didn't win this. However, she got her career and it's super and God bless her.

She was lucky she did not win. She got the publicity without getting tied to a terrible recording contract.

Years later and I still shed a tear when I listen to this. Great song writing, really pulls at the heart strings.. all her songs are great.

It's probably the crime of the century that Ella didn't win that year , she was far and away the best talent there . But she has done incredibly well since with a net worth in excess of 3 Million USD .

Oh boy she’s incredible! Her personal composition to start with which was excellent, to Life after Love which she made into something so special, every single song was incredible, she improved every single song 10-fold!

What I absolutely love ❤️ about Ella (apart from her voice of course) is her humility. She never seeks to one-up anyone or bring anyone down to make herself feel better. She is just a beautiful person inside and out. And that is rare to find.

I was watching a video of celebrities covering Taylor Swift and Ella was one of the celebrities. In 2023, I had not heard of her, but she stood out ,out of all the celebrities. I am looking her up and listening to her.
