Urk a small Fishing Village in the Netherlands. Flevoland. May 2024

Flevoland is a province in the center of the Netherlands, the youngest in the kingdom. It is located in the central part of the country, on the drained territory of Lake Ijsselmeer. The province was founded on January 1, 1986.
On one of our trips to the Netherlands, we stopped in the youngest province of this country - Flevoland and visited the wonderful town of Urk. Tiny Urk is not only a beautiful village, but also one of the largest fish suppliers in Europe!
Urk is called the Village of fishermen.
