I made the stupid decision to watch this before bed and had nightmares of dry fire explosions and micro cracks in my bow. Then I woke up and realized I still only have a 2004 PSE Nova 😂

Right on boys really cool vlog and pretty crazy how a bow can withstand some of the abuse that you put into it especially a dually HD pickup truck. That just tells you that Hoyt bows are and that's all that I shoot also HOYT. THE BEST!!! GO HOYT GO!!!

Wow, man this is what I need. Lol if yall give that bow away afterwards I’d love to have it. I’m a dad of 4 boys and can not possibly afford one right now (I’m living paycheck to paycheck) but I would love to make videos on it and shoot it every day (filmed every practice session for a year and hunt with it in all weather this year) I’m a small RUclipsr and would really genuinely enjoy this bow even after all the mishandling of it lol 😂

It’d be cool if you did this with all the flagship bows that come out. I’m curious how well a Mathew’s lift would hold up compared to the phase 4 or vxr. Especially the cams. The cams on my phase4 aren’t beefy but compared to the cams on the lift they are

I bought a new vtm at the end of 2023 and I was outside shooting getting it dialed in and my kids and wife was getting rdy to leave the house so I was making sure they wasn’t going to walk out one of the doors I wasn’t expecting them to but between them walking in and out i got side tracked and Drew back and shot heard the loudest pop I’ve ever heard I set fired my new bow but I got it Checked out the next day at the bow shop and it was perfect nothing wrong. I Mathew’s with those thin ass limbs and cams in wood have been in a pile at my feet I’m Hoyt for life now

Kevlar and plates or not, there is ZERO chance I intentionally dry-fire a bow manually. I would have rigged up a mechanical contraption to hold and fire that bow. I've seen limbs snap and flip around behind the shooter and nearly remove an arm. Also, while I understand the scientific reason for this video, dry-firing a nearly $2000 bow is blasphemy. I only WISH I could afford one to treat with the utmost respect, let alone to perform some of these crazy tests on. Good to know tho in the event I ever hit the lottery or something

dont matter how tuff any bow is if the cams are toast so dropping it flat is kinda dumb no bow is flat up in a tree 99% of the time and be nice to see the poundage of the bow before the dry fire ether way great job was fun to watch but ima stick with my mathews let all of yall have that carbon crap im not a fan of them at all of carbon not Hoyt I own somw hoyts as well just not carbon

    • @bowdude33

That’s not fair as they dropped it in 3 different positions from the stand. Why don’t you like any carbon bows?
