    I don’t understand how pearsall isn’t a top 6 receiver. His measurables and production are insane, he’s gonna go off in the right offense.

    Great show, tying these players to their schools when naming them would be great

    What were the rankings in 2022 and 2023?

    You can’t predict what team or situation a player goes to. Like Zay flowers doesn’t have the season that he did if he went to a team that forced him to do regular WR stuff and play mostly outwide. Same for tank dell.

    Receivers are directly tied to QB play and offensive play calling. That’s why everyone missed on Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. Still both are insanely talented but not sure they do what they do in other offenses with sub par QB play.

    • @JAmCaM212
      @JAmCaM212 5 месяцев назад

      @Biz613 exactly you are correct. Switch Rashee Rice with Puka and you get the same results with Rice. The Chiefs did play Rashee for half the season. He only average like 3 targets a game. Yes only 3 and he almost had a 1000 yard even with sitting out week 17 for rest. If he had the same amount of targets as Puka he would have had 1500 yards. It's all about the offense.

    Safety class please.
    There seems to be two rd2 safeties and about eight rd3. Yet every scouting report showers them all with praise.

    Did I miss Jacob Cowing? If so, he's an elite separator out of Arizona. Another good slot WR, gone around the late 3rd/early 4th round.

      I'll take the "later." Maybe Cowing is off that early, but it wouldn't shock me if he were a 5th-7th at all.

      I like Cowing moo than most people. Sorry, had to be done. But I actually do like his game quite a bit lol.

    @53:00 - it's really annoying that PFF don't cover every position group.
    Most of us aren't here to assess positional value according to PFF's data perspective... We're football fans - I want to know all the players I watch on an NFL field.

    • @george474747
      @george474747 4 месяца назад

      If the NFL thinks they're worth spending resources on, players are worth covering. Teams know far more than PFF. But regardless, fans want to know who we're watching.

    I watched videos of U of Washington for the last two years. Andre Ware was enamored with Penix after doing a game in 2022. He never saw a college qb throw a ball so well off his hand. Wanted the Texans to draft him last year. Of course Penix returned to UW for the 23’ season. Glad he did after Strouds 1st year.
    In 22’, Jalen McMillen was a better WR than Polk. This year Polk had a better year, but McMiillen missed a lot of games due to injury. I’d take him before Polk.

      I feel like its apples and oranges. These are more numbers analysis. Steve was a certified reciever in the league for most of his career. They won't look at guys the same way. Plus zay's production could've been so different. Imagine if he went to Chicago or something

    I think if BTJ goes to Dallas or Cincy, and can get some route running help from CeeDee/Cooks or Chase, he could be gross; but if he goes to Jacksonville or New Orleans or somewhere dumb where he’s just a deep ball guy, he’ll be MVS, DJ Chark or Martavis Bryant.

      Worst place he could go other than the Raiders lmao he needs to go somewhere that has firm leadership. I think his ideal landing spot would be San Francisco to hopefully be the eventual Aiyuk replacement. Similar size and mold, won’t be asked to do a ton out of the gate, other than work hard, block and catch some short range stuff.

      Nah He’s already AB in his 8 season level worry/distraction/problem coming in as a rookie. I’d rather have Thrash or similar or better yet take Ladd in the first ( maybe trade back a bit get a higher 2cond rounder ) and not look back . Franklin , Ad would also be awesome.

    Sam you've gotta stop with the MVS comp. BTJ had half the drop rate and a way higher contested catch rate. Just because he's big and fast doesn't mean he's MVS. Also having Quentin Johnston as WR3 last year and BTJ as WR16 this year is wild and feels like a massive overcorrection

    • @brianhenne6536
      @brianhenne6536 6 месяцев назад

      Chark is a more interesting comp for Thomas

    • @chrismiddleton4733
      @chrismiddleton4733 5 месяцев назад

      I agree. MVS is very slow off the line and seems to take forever to get up to his eventual elite long speed. Thomas is much quicker off the line. He's also more agile and tracks the ball far, far better.
      Quinton Johnston was helped by being the only big and fast receiver in his draft class. Unfortunately that's about all he has. He plays small and doesn't track the ball downfield nearly as well as BTJ. On the plus side, he was pretty good after the catch in college. But he definitely benefited from coming out in a weaker WR class full of smurfs who largely underwhelmed at the combine.

    Gotta love all these Draft "Experts"... show their picks from previous Years and they are all HIT and MISS... MISS more than HIT. Also love hearing "Value" Bwahahahaha Ok if you're picking late in the draft then you take BEST player or TOP player off your fucking Board... NO matter what these Jackwagons say. OMG I can't believe they drafted him that high..... Ok let's say they don't pick that player... then 20 picks later a team grabs him before you can draft again and it's Genius. Ughhhhhhh So you lost the player you wanted because you didn't grab him... all because these Jackwagons are like... you have to wait to draft him 10 picks down... Shut up. Neither of these two had Puca on their top 10... they both had Rice and Flowers WAY down their list. Ughhhh
