For me personally, I’d always read about ACR being a credible Factory act. I actually discovered them relatively late - with their early 90s MCR release which completely blew me away at the time with its pioneering electronic innovation and use of ethnic samples, for example. It sat alongside the other innovative releases of the year - including Entaxt by The Shamen and DM”s Violator as one of the eras perfect albums. “Good feelings” and “be who you wanna be”, indeed.

Underrated is a very overused term on the internet. but ACR are very much underrated. Some bands don't get recognition for their influence. ACR aree one such band ... try pigeonholing this band
