i remember hearing the original from madden nfl 2005 but i swear i love this version much more. ivans vocals are just amazing. plus i love the metal instrumental feel to it

xEazy420 From a fan standpoint, you're right. But, at least in my opinion, I try to look at songs from an unbiased standpoint when comparing covers to originals. If a person who likes hard rock but didn't know of Faith No More or Five Finger Death Punch listened to this song and the original, they'd more than likely prefer this because: The singer has a voice more suited for Rock/Metal (Faith No More sounds really high pitched and incredibly off putting, especially in this song), all the instruments that weren't Rock before are now, and the pacing is slightly better. Take off the nostalgia goggles, and trust me, this one seems better.
