- The 4ocean Community Events Team and Air Canada made waves at Clearwater Beach with the help of 1,129 participants. Together, we collected:

Plastic cutlery: 146
Beach toys: 226
Plastic bottles: 410
Styrofoam pieces: 441
Metal bottle caps: 610
Plastic straws: 759
Plastic bags: 805
Plastic bottle caps: 1,996
Cigarette butts: 19,225

We're definitely working hard to expand our reach! In the meantime, we always encourage everyone to take action in their communities. You can raise awareness to those around you, have cleanups of your own, and even reduce your use of single-use plastics. Sometimes all it takes is a couple of friends and family to help make a difference.
4ocean I’m the only one in my family who’s trying to act good for planet and especially oceans, even if I try to convice my family to help or to sensibilize them, they don’t care. So i’m acting with my boyfriend who is caring about environment too 😊 We bought 4ocean bracelets, I’ve bought a « Sea Cleaners » bracelet too and I am reducing my plastic use and I’m helping just as the best I can. Thanks for existing, you make our planet happier

Should I go to a lake or pond because I don’t live by the ocean
By cleaning up either one, you are already making an impact! You can even pick up trash outside of the local shopping center as 80% of ocean pollution is land-based. Every step taken is a step towards a cleaner ocean. 🌊
Only that people would be more interested in the environment and how they affect it, instead of all the talks about politicians.
