I recently discovered your channel. You are amazingly gifted! I was not able to locate this pattern on the site. Please tell me it's still available 🙁 blessings ❤️
Hi. Love watching your tutorials Emily. I have the Aviary quilt, although I haven't started working on it yet. I am wondering why you do templates sometimes (like on the smaller bird in the first video) and then don't use them in this video. How do I decide which to use where? Thanks so much.
Once the owl is complete, I cut it away from the foundation fabric and adhered it to a pieced background fabric with glue! That becomes my quilt top and I make the traditional "quilt sandwich" and quilt! Check out my Collage Quilt Along with Emily Facebook group for more help :)
Even I think I can do this because of your tutorials…Thankyou!❤

Can you use Elmer’s glue ? I like the metal tips you can purchase for the Elmer’s which gives good control.
Yes! Elmer's will work. Just remember that Elmer's is water soluble.
Yes! Elmer's glue is good to use :)
When removing the freezer paper template , is that leaving a sticky film behind on the top of the fabric?
No~ that's the amazing thing about using freezer paper! There is no residue left on the fabric when you peel it off.
Emily can you help me understand why i need to glue it if the freezer paper sticks to the template
The glue adheres each fabric piece to the foundation. The template is only temporarily stuck to the fabric to guide your cutting :)
HOW DO YOU GET THIS INTO A QUILT?????USA
