I just went back five years to check out Emily’s videos! I didn’t start collage quilting during the first year. So was fun to go back! Keep up the great creating Emily. So glad you have expanded and now have partners, Amelia! We are traveling in Aug and Sept and hope to get a chance to drop into your new studio.
I love that you take the time to explain everything so clearly, that you stay with us when your doing the things, ie cutting ironing etc... just not skipping to the next point.
Thank you so much for sharing the info in such a clear manor. I like that you demonstrate the steps fully not assuming that the student has any experience. Love it so far.
I'm a total novice..never done this , just found you! I've been thinking of moving towards this type of quilts.....but you explained it well. (We are going caravaning for 3 months next week, so will have to wait until my return!)> Marietta, Brisbane Australia..going south to Tasmania!
My questions are...are you gluing and then sandwiching and quilting? Or are you gluing, appliqueing and then sandwich and quilting? Is that always your process? Do you ever applique stitch down? Thanks.
Any chance that this pattern will be back in print? Ive tried looking for a copy someone bought but didnt use but your patterns are just too wonderful to show up in the aftermarket
Hi. I just joined your website newsletter and watched this video. I was wanting to try my hand at the smaller quail but couldn’t find the link to get it. I haven’t done that technique and since I have quails in my yard daily was hoping to learn with that pattern. Could you help me get that free pattern?
Hi Marilyn~ The small quail is no longer a freebie, but the owl is! Here is the link to receive the small owl: collagequilter.com/pages/free-owl-pattern

When you make the template do you trace with the waxy side to the fabric panel?
Yes!
Muy incómodo tienes el planchador.
