God, I'm the same way!! I still think of it as being early 2000's in my subconscious (bc I graduated in 04'), so whenever I hear some (obvious adult) saying they were born in the 2000's, it's just... _jarring._ I started to feel old when I realized I was referencing things that happened _multiple decades_ ago. (I'm only 35 this month, but still).

I can still remember all of the words to the music and even dance to it. Of course, I can’t remember what I walked into a room to get, but oh well. Enjoy life.
I moved back to Stockton, Ca in 92’ at 12 years old and we went dancing every sing Friday and Saturday night at the Alano Club! Loved this.

GOIN TO THE MALL AND YOU JUST ENJOY GOIN TO THE MALL!!! broooooooooooo we used to HANG at the mall just to be there. like me and my friends used to just fuck off to the mall literally every day we _possibly_ could. and we would hit up _all_ the malls in the surrounding area: our own city's mall, the mall in the city north of us, the city south of us, and the burbs nearby too. like we woulda seen every single thing in the mall one day and we would go again the next day bc the mall was the fucking place to be. most of the time I wouldn't buy a single thing except food (though my friends would because they all had more money than me, hahaha).
Gen Y was really the last ones to do it like that. it's crazy to think about it sometimes... an entire landscape of my youth is dead.

I recognize just about every single one of those songs. I remember my family taking me and friends to bowling alleys and some of those songs would be broadcast for ambience. I also agree with you on how great it was growing up in the 90's and early 2000's with the diverse variety and high quality cartoons and other programs that used to be aired Monday- Saturday. I remember when I was young I would always look forward seeing my afternoon cartoons after school and don't get me started on Saturday mornings. There were so many great cartoons back then, both American made and Japanese made shows. I wish we could have that level and quality brought back. Anyone got a time machine?

I miss shows like American bandstand and soul train from my Young years
Excellent re-mix. Remember PTX is producing DURING this Pandemic which means Each one shot in their own home. Might have more effects because each had to send their own vocals, then video with each member having 2 outfits to Ben to be edited and Mastered together to be released. Scott and Mitch have live stream their "Pandemic" experiences and wanted to put more joy and positivity energy out into the world as we go through this difficult time.

"These kids is trash..." XD Real talk. Kids now days don't know the real Thunder Cats, Silver Hawks, G.I. Joe, Bionic Six, Thundar the Barbarian, Johnny Quest and the like; they don't get that love the age of the kid is over and the best they get now is Ninjago, they have to wait to get anime and by then it may be to lay to save them once weened off of Bubble Guppies and nothings there to replace it, I mean they don't even have Pinky and the Brain and that humor technically is more adult than child, but the delivery is child enough that both audiences can get something from it, masters of the double entendre via the medium of cartoons. But it is ultimately the people in charge of the business decisions, not the kids that make that happen... .
Sat. morning for now day kids is no kind of fun, but parents gotta hawk over 'em 24/7 or it's could be child abuse. However it's the way of it to gender bend them before they can form sentences, while at the same time we can't let them play out side by themselves like we did when we were kids or that's considered child abuse.
If you remember a show from Nickelodeon called "You can do that on Television" (may be dating myself ^_^), all that sounds like something from the "Introduction to the Opposites" segment of the show or something, now doesn't it, and it would be funny if it weren't actually happening IRL, but we're in the Twilight Zone and I digress.
