Nice intro to Entra. All these new product brands and features get confusing. Entra, priva, purview, defender. Great to have your videos to understand where these products sit and link together.
Thanks a lot for this useful video. Some of my friends were also saying that Microsoft Entra might be included in AZ-104 syllabus which would be modified on 27th Oct 2022. Again Thanks a lot. 😀😀
Thanks Andy, great video. I'd not even heard of Entra until this video popped up as a suggested watch, MS keep pumping out new Admin stuff, it would be nice if they told us Partners about these things in advance, or is that too much to expect?
Lifecycle workflows look great. Hoping I can move off third party apps for user creation. Would also be good for auto-disabling the many external guest accounts and temporary consultant, volunteers, trainees etc rather than hoping to pick them up during an audit
The HR integrations we did up to this point are massive monsters capable of leveling small cities. I'm hoping that this feature is functional enough to cut out these things and get to the end state of smoother automated provisioning.
Hi Malone, could you please make video regarding ADFS ? especially after done initial setup, how to really start using it and application in real world?, I really couldn't get the full grasp of the ADFS concept at all.
Honestly, I do teach this, however very few people request this and to be honest it would be quicker to set up an order to demo it. I’ll see what I can do but don’t hold your breath. Thanks again.
What RBAC role/s should be given to an admin for Microsoft Entra? I’m still trying to find a youtube video that can explain what RBAC roles should be given to admins. Thanks!
Everything seems to be Microsoft centric and happy path. For instance what happens when you have a completely unconnected application (manual provisioning and deprovisioning) that you need to have "closed loop provisioning" and entitlement reviews and approvals for access? I don't see any way to manage this kind of situation.
Does anyone else wish they could spend a month shadowing this man Andy Malone? I could learn more in a month than I learned at Uni in 4 years.
Aw thanks I'm delighted to hear that :-)
Excellent instructor for everything related to Microsoft and AD. Thanks

Life in the cloud I’m afraid😊

I agree, and I think they’re designed to integrate with HR applications. Thanks again.

Hi Andy. Do you think that Microsoft is going to replace the exam AZ-500 soon due to of this "Entra"?
Not sure but if they did it will be with SC-200 for the security bits.

Check out Learn.Microsoft.COM take a look at intuwin file creation.
These look really but a shame Azure P2 for some E license plan is needed.
Yeah unfortunately I have no come tell over that sorry 😊
