Please Martin....you don't have to ask if we want more of this interior design tutorials, I just can't wait to see what's coming next from you. This lesson is so useful...I thank you a great deal.
Watching these interior design Ps vids is what made me realize how many things you can do with Pshop besides making designs and compositions. i am actually learning way more than Im applying and practicing, BUT I am able to understand how a LOT of the design work and compositing/Fx are done when i see other's work now, and I can think more creatively about what I want to do because i understand the tools(the whole program) better now! At first i was only learning what i thought i needed to do a specific task in TShirt design workflow..i mean boring white text only and simple graphic with 1-2 colors maybe "designs" (lol boring but they are easy to target).. anyway,I realized that i was limiting my creativity by not just simply learning more about the program functions and now i can visualise how to do SO much more... and think of so many more services to offer!
What Martin and his partner do not share with us is that there entire house is actually just AR adobe stock footage and he is actually just a smart object in his own augmented reality. 🤣🤣🤣 Or we can all agree he is an amazing teacher and puts out awesomeness daily 😎 thanks for part 2 Martin 🤟
😂😂😂 you are too funny man! I like the sound of being a Smart Object in my own AR world 🤔 glad you found this episode useful. Lots of cool videos are coming still this year and I'm already working on content for 2020, so stay tuned and feel free to suggest ideas for topics! Your feedback is highly appreciated 🙌
When replacing the source image with another wood tex, then use layer comps. Create one with only the first texture visible, the second with only the second texture visible and give them names. Save the source image and return to the main image and switch/choose on the Properties Panel the drop down menu where it says 'Don't apply Layer Comp' one of your two previeous layer comps. This way you don't have to switch back and forth between the source image and the main image to see the difference Also you can change the image mode to Lab for example in the source image. I won't change the main image mode, but gives you the option to work in Lab, CMYK, etc. on the source...
These are great tips! I actually used Layer Comps for this a few times and forgot to include it in this video. I will cover it in a separate video, especially with the improvements for Layer Comps in the 2020 version. Thanks a lot for the tips!
I prefer using the Linked SO workflow so that the assets are available to other images and it also helps keeping the file size down since embeddeds with save the entire contents of all duplicates to the psd.
These videos are invaluable, so many thanks to you. I am now filling my time by seeing what combination of tiles and paint suit a room we are decorating - damn lockdown. I do have a question which someone may answer, hopefully! Is there a way of changing the angle of the pattern? Taking your example of the wood planking, can you change the angle to, say 45deg, to see what it looks like? Or do you have to make a new pattern with the various angles you want to try. Cheers
Hi I have been trying to merge multiple master smart object into one, but unable to, can you guide? Like in your design, after creating the entire stair, I want use the same texture for both top and front. So by placing one texture both will get updated.
