Y'all gotta remember this was performed in her OIAM era and she wanted do a fresh take on this classic. Artists evolve lol. This is one of my fav performances of B&F!
WHO EVER SAID AALIYAH COULDN'T SING IS VERY IGNORANT!!!!!!!! THIS GIRL WAS A GREAT PERFORMER AND IF SHE WAS ALIVE SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN THIS NEXT BIG PERFORMER!!!!!!!! HER ALBUM, PROMOTE, BIG BILLION DOLLAR MOVIES, SHE WAS ABOUT TO BE EVERYWHERE IT WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN NO ROOM!!!!!! THAT IS WHY WHEN AALIYAH DIED A LOT OF NEW ARRIST CAME OUT INCLUDING BEYONCE AS A SOLO ARTIST. SONY TOOK AMERI STYLE AND PUT IT ON BEYONCE THE TRUTH!!!!!! I LOVE BEYONCE I DON'T BELIEVE IN PUTTING ARTISTS DOWN ESPECIALLY OUR BLACK ARTIST WHO HAD TO WORK HARD❤ HOWEVER💁🏿
She is my idol when come home school i listen to her when i done with homework i study her moves ever where i go i sing in my spare time i write songs music has changed since she been gone i hope she hears me from up above~forever loved the Queen of RnB aaliyah
I know I'm late to your comment so you probably won't see this but yes, that [1:40-1-46] falsetto was beautiful. Very cute. That was her signature style when it came to singing live. Man, it's crazy. I listen to a lot of singers, artists out now especially the RnB singers and no one matches Aaliyah smooth style and spirit.

i liked the performance to a certain degree; however I wish she had used a headset instead of a mic tho(move more freely) & also HATED that she used the "hand sign"...UGGH, gets on my nerve everytime I see it. N-E-WAYZ, I still enjoyed watching her perform this song live. Truly missed, Babygirl...
@sage no she meant it that way. Its industry standard. Even if they Dont necessarily believe in it full force they will throw that sign on TV...or else they won't be on TV. Still love her tho
@@LeeDfined Sheesh both your commentd are extremely true. I'm a "major" fan of hers but i hated that she kept throwing that hand sign up. If you know you know. Every song she performed here in this concert, not only did she throw up that hand sign (pinky and index finger with ring and middle finger pressed down with thumb) but she threw up it up when she was using her signature falsetto voice (for example at the 1:40-1:46 mark). Every song, even for a One in a million song. When she performed her signature falsetto voice, she threw up that sign. It's weird. As if she had to trademark, put a label or pay homage to her craft by throwing the sign or or else. And especially during the climax or best part of the song

CrazySexyCool Yes and im not feeling it
@@miamivicepastels83 Agreed. The song is meant to have a laid back vibe and this wasn’t laid back at all. It felt rushed

The date says this is at a Superfest October 6, 2007?? How can this be if she went to heaven in August 2001...
brian frasier moore
superfest is the only concert aaliyah ever did, right?
My bad is January 8th, R.kelly is January 8th, and hers is the 16th.
I meant to say my b day
Elvis Presley birthday is also January 8th
@zombieloser So? no ones style is completely original. get over it. That's not the point on this video.
R.I.P AALIYAH! Gone but never forgotten.
This version fucking SUCKS
