The wind, truck an cars were so disrespectful this whole video 😂😂😂I know you’re happy to have gotten that truck payment so low. Great info as always, keep it coming
I ain't get no jacket!!!😂 But I did get a truck wash token 😝 Also got a 2% bonus on my yearly gross for having a full year of safety as well. My ride along went exactly like yours. Perfect advice too! I can just tell my experience and provide knowledge yo help someone decide if Schneider is right for them. Stay safe driver! Oh! I met Love this morning. He having a crap week man, we've all had them and they suck!
I'm debating if I go SFI and lease on with Schneider tanker. Already a company driver and I don't mind how they are. I know a lot of people don't like how strict they are but being retired Army it doesn't bother me too much. I usually run 2-3 months before going home and feel like I can better leverage my time and skill for more $$$ if I go lease(and then maybe finance on my own if I'm successful enough)
I just joined back on with schneider again brotha, for the 3rd time 😂, i practically paid the entire truck off and have only 900 a month payments which i financed for 2 years. In orientation i found out how much the new guys were paying for truck payments, 1200 to 1400 a week 😳 😐 🤔 😑, i about lost my snit, i was telling them to do like i have done which is to run like hell, save up as much as possible, (preferably atleast 20 k )and to buy a good used truck like mines and get the 2000 premium warranty on it. The difference is over 50,000k in savings in 1 year. 😊
@@LifeOfKO 😑 I was asking him but if you have a similar situation then obviously feel free to add the more information the better decision everyone who sees it can make
My 24 Cascadia gave me 2 back to back picking up the road signs in a curve in the road and same stretch of road hit a bad dip on the right side of the road tripped the roll stability. Truck is too sensitive
Hey great video you make good points Question please can you elaborate on turning your Sfi truck in….. And the 5000 fee ! I’ve had mine for 2 years definitely wanting to charge me $5000 fee
It was a 6000 return fee from what they told me. I had the money in my MMA account so they just took it from there and paid me the rest of the money. Which was like 145$. You don’t get the down payment back.
Hey, thanks for the reply. I have 6000 in my maiden account and a $5000 deposit so I assume they would take the 6000 from the maintenance account and I would not get my deposit back. Is that what I’m hearing because if that’s the case, I deafly didn’t catch that in the fine print I assume they would take the maintenance money and I would get my deposit back so if this is the case, they’re keeping 11 grand.
I am coming to Schneider for orientation May 13, had to reschedule my orientation because of my current HOS wasn’t going to allow me to travel up to Atlanta
@@LifeOfKO I like to, the company I drive for, has a lot of extra cost. I could not really pick out the truck I wanted to drive. It has 360,000 miles on it. I’ve had trucks with 150,000 miles in the past. And I’m not making any money where I am working at.
They be being lazy or don't know how.. And yes they will bring it to your attention but will do a class as well.also the reason is to keep insurance reason so if they see that your not willing to correct the critical issues they will let you go
That’s unfortunate. If you know how to use split break then that’s different. You can’t control what people do in the down town. You got people that take a 10 and drive and still be falling asleep. It’s all in the individual.

The ep3 was the 1st manual car i ever drove and fell in love with
Niceee. I’ve never owned one.

Most definitely. Let me get that token bro lol. It’s time for a wash. Damn you met him before me lol. Be safe country. See you around.

You can still do the insert on your phone, you just have to log on using the web page not the app.
Ok ok. I’ve never logged on through my phone. I’ll have to try that out.

Where you get your warranty?
How much you make starting off ? I was thinking of doing the same or buying the truck I got assigned after I put a few miles on 😂
@Realogn for me or him?

I agree. Very sensitive. It’s crazy.
Thank you sir! Appreciate the transparency.
No problem. Be safe.
100% on the fuel discounts. I get more QT fuel than Pilot. Just because of cost
Right. You would think this big company would have a great discount
Outstanding Video!!!
Thanks boss
Thank you for sharing your experience KO. Drive safely 👍
Anytime boss. You do the same.
Well done Mr Schneider Boss 🫡🫡🫡
🤣🤣🤣
I appreciate the thorough breakdown💯💯 Do you get paid anything when a load cancels? You know like how prime does the tonu
It’s 150$

Yeah bro those critical events were super annoying 😂 still trying to be like you when I grow up 😂
Lmfaoo be better than me ✊🏽
Ever thought of taking your truck back to prime?
Mmmm I thought about it but If I went back to prime I would pay someone to drive my truck and go back and do flatbed at prime as a lease op again

@Adamrossman that’s what they told me. I only put down 2500 when I got my truck. They say you forfeit the deposit when you turn it in.
Thanks for the info bro drive safe
Anytime. You too
We were told by a sfi rep it was a no walk away contract.
You can. I did it. They charge 6k to turn it in. I had the money in my maintenance so they owed me money when I turned it in.
Ok cool. Thanks for the
reply.

Why did you leave Prime
Wanted to pick my own loads.
I’m looking at SFI leasing terms avg like 52-110 weeks. How was you able to turn in truck in 11 months ?
You can turn it in whenever you want to.
Ok thanks for info I thought it was like a penalty or you would still be responsible for payments until term was satisfied ! Love the videos
@brianlaxbs there’s a penalty it’s 6k. But I had the money in my maintenance so I didn’t owe anything when I gave it back
Split Log…. Not split breaks.
Don’t a iPad work as a laptop
No, an iPad is basically a big phone. It can do some computer-like tasks even use a keyboard but it still not a laptop
I heard that Schneider lost some freight with there intermodal service
@terryb5000 I wouldn’t be surprised. There was someone said they making 90k on intermodal

Split break is inherently dangerous. Look at Primes last driver fatality, he was running split, fell asleep and crashed. DEAD.
