That first part of the Emperor Garuda fight had so much cheese I thought I needed to make a sandwich. Literally found the perfect spot to game the AI and didn't have to move. Only having to occasionally jump to avoid his sword strike.
The boss design in this game was really shallow and disapponting. The bosses themselves looked cool sprite-wise but the fights were extremely one note and unfun. They barely interacted with the player and were extremely easy to pick apart (safe for the first boss and to some extent the second phase of the second). The later the bosses were, the worse they were in design.
Um tanto frustrante o Boss da armadura durante minha infância. Batia e batia e nada do hp descer, acostumado com os anteriores. Só depois que pude entender que havia uma "segunda"barra de Hp Espero conseguir uma cópia desse jogo logo. Esperando a mídia física dele no meu país
The bosses all look amazing... except the dragon thing at the end. From what I see it only moves around in a predictable "charge around edges/at player" pattern and has absolutely no ranged attacks, which is disappointing considering that each of its components did have a projectile attack of some sort.
The way this game is the most faithful to the original is in it having an abysmal final boss that makes me wanna never replay it gahahahaha. Nah I exaggerate, amazing game overall but yeah Emperor Garuda ranges from aggravating to extremely cheesable in both versions lmao, I'm not a fan of the fogey. Rest of the bosses are fine.

The NES version is harder but not by much
Incluso en hard, son accesibles los jefese👌
ojalá algún día alguien se anime a hacer el remake de Power Blade 1 y 2.

At first I thought it was random but yea. It's predictable which sucks for a final boss. The stage 4 boss was absolute hell to no damage

Bro for real! That last boss is such a disappointment in both versions
Why'd they have to make the bosses oversized. The hawk guy can't throw high kicks anymore and he looks ridiculous
I like that look better. Gotta use that high resolution somehow
