I never could understand why Robert Reed thought the original Brady Bunch series was so inane, and yet he willingly appeared and acted like an idiot on this show.
I've begun to think of The Brady Bunch Hour.as the fevered dreams of Mike Brady as he lay.near death after contracting some rare tropical fever during a business trip. (But I still like watching clips from the show.)

It only goes to show u that there were many fans of The Brady Bunch back then and the original TV series wasn't good enough. So The Brady Bunch had to continue with more pieces of Brady entertainment. This segment was very nice and good but the original TV series seemed better somehow-Notice that they never did anything like this with The Partridge Family?
Wow - watch Mr. Brady just give up at 5:24. As a child of the 70's, my vote for worst, cringiest, "writhe with embarrassment just watching it" show is a toss up between this and the Star Wars Christmas Special
Funny I read that barry Williams was doing this to try and show that he could dance and sing with a lil funkiness for a little move that was just starting to be talked about. This movie was solely to be built around a guy that danced at disco ,um don't know if anyone remembers it was called Saturday night fever.barry's people thought it was great to show how versatile he was ... How he was a natural great dancer..this should have showed the powers that be that rightfully so....he was stiff, and had no rhythm and could not dance groove form. John travolta was the right pick for that move. Barry needs to go and sit down .shamefull , all people have rhythm some whites and some black people have great rhythm ,as some black people and white have no rhythm what so ever and dispell the myth that with blacks -that they all have rhythm,as the myth that white people have no rhythm ..ha ha barry falls into the no rhythm ...this is sad, none of those kids can dance you would think someone could dance in groove with the musi
Heh heh. Robert Reed was a respected actor before The Brady Bunch. Who knows if his career would have panned differently if not for The Brady Bunch. Would Gene Hackman, who was originally considered for the role of Mike Brady, have appeared in a show as awful as this?
