- In this video I modify my covert acoustic tube earpiece to have an custom ear hook so that it fits more comfortably around my ear and stay in place. This can be done by anyone as a do it yourself project.
Items needed:
Small paper clip
Large paper clip
Electrical Heat shrink
Lighter
Very helpful, thank you, been having so many issues with it round my ears as they are so small!! 🙏🙏
Underrated video. Great work!
Very helpful.. Thanks for putting this out there..
A truly wonderful job. Thank you. You will go to heaven because of how nice you have been to total strangers. All the people who voted down thumb will go to hell probably.
Great hack! The bit of metal there might freak out the anti-EMF crowd, but whatever 😂
I just wear my tinfoil hat so I don't have to worry about that.
How do you do it
Sir I'm student, can I use this headphone?? As well as it's mobile useable?????
jahedul anwar Its for hand held radios not cell phones.
WhispTech thanks
what size of the heatshrink tube that you use?
Not sure what I used on my project. The acoustic tube itself is 3mm, The smallest paper clip is 1mm. So I would say 5mm shrink tubing would work. I might have used 6 or 7 since that all I had at the time.
thanks
Just remove the right angle adapter, snip down the material, and replace the adapter.
Max Perez Cutting it fown like you stated doesn't work for everyone. People have different ear sizes and shapes. Plus having this built in ear hook gives you benifits that without doesn't such as when moving at high pace or taking down an opponent plus position ability of ear bud for a better seal to hear especially at loud concerts.
@@WhispTech I'm trying to remove the right angle adapter and it is extremely difficult. Doesn't seem to want to come off. How did you take yours off ?
@@OGCJ10 For the earpiece itself? Should just unplug from the hose.
@@WhispTech yes the one for the ear piece.. It twist around but it's just not coming out. Don't wanna use pliers and risk damaging it
I thought this video was going to tell us how to put it on.. its just about the wiring
