      Haha you're welcome! Honestly, these little 5ish min videos are so fast and easy to shoot and edit. The 10-15 minute ones are exponentially longer to shoot an edit, it's insane. 5 minute video is maybe 10-15 minutes of raw footage, takes about 30ish min to edit. A 15 minute video is like an hour of raw footage, takes 3-4 hours to edit (I have a short attention span haha). I can also shoot a bunch of short ones in one sitting haha. It's a win win!

I have never owned or played a Spector, but that flamed tobacco burst is so darn pretty. It sounded pretty good as well. As compared to Warwick, would you say they are sister rivals cornering the same market (looks, sound, feel, etc)? As with Spector I never owned or played a Warwick. I haven't played a real warwick in over 10 years, used to have a 4 string thumb which was an interesting instrument to say the least. My warwick was bubinga and ovankol (neck thru), and I liked it a lot. Was not a fan of the ones with wenge necks as I don't like the porous feel. Huge Spector fan. I’ve owned a handful including a Woodstock custom. Fantastic tone, ergonomics and reliability. Owned Warwicks too but it’s a different vibe. Spector has a guttural sound that is very different from the Warwick growl. Warwick has a treble bite that I hate and if you read the story on the NS/Streamer licensing you’ll see about the honor end. Warwicks high end stuff is awesome. The neck on a Spector is a lot like a 70’s P bass B neck shape while a Warwick is more of a U shape chunker. Great job Lobster.

      It's a shame they didn't also make a glossy finish like they did with the Legend 4 Standards. I had actually purchased a Legend 4 Tobacco Sunburst through American Music Supply, but the unit I got had the reversed P pickups (as opposed to the classic configuration) and the letter format on the headstock was different, and it didn't display what was shown in the pictures. Man I've really come to enjoy your reviews and interesting sense of humor, BUT that 60 cycle hum/noise/buzz you got going on with most of the reviews HAS to be your amp or cable....
    Because like 90% of the basses you demo sound noisy, and I know 90% of those basses wouldn't create that noise...

      @LowEndLobster  4 года назад

      Thanks Seth! It's not. I actually took this bass to my tech to investigate the noise issue further. The P pickup on this one is a bit noisy. Replicated the issue over there and can repeat it over here as well in different rooms. This vid was also pre-power conditioner too, but I just picked up the bass now and the P pickup is the culprit here.
