I love not having the heat from the power supply directly under my gpu, and having more than 1cm for cable management is amazing. I'm not one for looks, so the fishtank is irrelevant, I appreciate the extra room.
ikr, i have enough corsair icue crap in my pc to need 2 commander pros. aint no way its fitting in a normal form factor case. not to mention the 3, 360mm radiators i somehow managed to fit in there

There are also plenty of cases with plenty room on the back without being dual chamber, you can't hide behind a group of incompetent people to male yourself look normal, you're still incompetent. cases like the ceres 300 even allow you to access the shroud on both sides, no excuses.
I've got an o11 mini, I keep it on a separate shelving unit (mostly because of my unstable shitty desk), it doesn't take up much space, even when I had it on the desk, and still keeps all of the dual-chamber and fishtank advantages. Underrated case in my opinion, the other o11s get all the credit.
I use the same case. When he spoke about a huge side chamber I looked over at mine and just thought "disagree". The chamber faces away from you anyways, and it is just incomparably better to work in. I will never go back to mid tower.

My feelings about fishtank cases is EXACTLY the way I feel about regular fish tanks. Unless you have one seamless curved glass piece, the tank is ugly. It's like 2 monitors vs 1 ultrawide monitor. The one ultrawide is always better. Seeing those visible cuts in the glass is like having two monitors. Having one seamless curved piece is like thay ultrawide monitor.
I just don't care, though. I think it's cool to have a big case with good management in the back. You can also use the case with cool desk designs or put things on it. Since you have a visible case anyway, surely that means you'd have it on your desk for display purposes anyway
The Jonsbo TK1/2 are in my opinion the best looking fish tank pc cases. I have the tk1 in white and man does it look clean, and it takes up less space in both length and width than my old O11d mini
My three favorite fishtank cases have to be the hyte y60 (especially the white and black), the h6 flow and the h9 elite. And yes I know that it's super basic but you gotta give credit when credit is due
What I think about fish tank cases is they are very boring aesthetically, overhyped and basically make it impossible to have on the floor due to where the power button and USB ports etc are. I wouldn’t mind fish tank cases as much if they weren’t so overhyped as the “objective best type of case”, especially since I wouldn’t call having the power button and USB ports at the bottom of the case “objectively the best”.
Idea: Use the case that you like. Everyone has an opinion, and an opinion is not specifically right or wrong; it is just someone's personal preference. Like it? Great. Don't like it? Great.
Im ok with the case being deep as long as the extra width allows for more radiator space on top or aomething sadly moat often thats not the case its just more depth and the same or less useable cooling space.
Fish tanks are heavy, and wide, looks good but when it comes to maintenance I’m sure no1 wants to carry 60 pounds outside to blow dust out. I’ll stick to my good ole Lian li 216.
I think a fish tank case should be an actual fish tank and filled with mineral oil. Emulating the style without the liquid from those wild aquarium cases isn't nearly as cool.
But where do you put 3 rads in a single chamber case? Preferably without creating a singularity where rads merge together into one sideront corner entity, since I don't have fans that can spin in two dimensions simultaneously. 2 360 rads are not enough to cool at 500rpm and i dont like all that noise. Oh, and i dont keep my pc on the table. I also dont have a carpet. But I do have a pc case wheel set! The one with a perimeter to put the case on. Very convenient!
There's not much difference at all, and airflow is obstructed by PSU in the case on the bottom. Don't forget to research your fans' CFM + Static Pressure!
They're overrated, and companies (and paid influencers) been pushing them just so they can sell more expensive RGB fans. We see alot of brands, even the more "traditional" brands like Antec, Corsair, etc are trying to make their own O11 clones nowdays. Some are really good like the NV7, but the majority of them are so uninspired and dull. I prefer traditional, unique / good looking cases, so I'm glad that there are some companies such as be quiet! and Fractal who are still focusing on the traditional looking cases. So yeah, not exactly my thing, but I wouldn't complain if I get to choose something like NV5/NV7 Fishtank, traditional, doesn't really matter. As long if you doesn't vertical mount your GPUs, then you're okay in my book.
I literally have metal box that i cant see inside off. Because i only actually look at my PC when i turn it on. I do understand wanting to make something pretty. But why spend a lot of money on the case that you could put towards other parts or useful accessories for the PC?
@@Oozaru85 and in most basement compartments, those holes are partially blocked by a PSU and PSU cables…what would be sweet, is if a case manufacturer that also happens to be a PSU manufacturer, came out with a dual chamber case that came with a preinstalled, modular, 1000watt Flex ATX PSU, granted it would have to be xtra long and a custom design, but you could make a dual chamber case that’s capable of handling a Noctua. NH-D15, that’s under 10inches wide. The PSU would be shaped like a power strip however, but with proper placement of the modular connectors, CPU towards the top, followed by 24-pin, followed by your PCI-e and finally Sata connections, you could fancy yourself the best of both worlds…but someone would have to be brave and willing to take a chance…

Same here. I started with a Corsair mid-tower case and could barely fit all the cables for everything in the back. I had to upgrade when I bought a bigger GPU bc it wouldn't fit in my case, so I bought a Lian Li 011 dynamic and it's been fantastic. Plenty of room and looks cool.
One great reason I'm considering one for sons build. His current system is in a Thermaltake micro-ATX but the cable management took longer to do than downloading Windows 10.
I've built one for a client. The back chamber was really nice to install everything smoothly. Cable management is really easy as well. As for the desk space, just put it on a platform, with wheels, underneath the desk. That way you can wheel it out when you want to show it off. Don't need to stare at it 24/7. That'd be too distracting.
My opinion is completely different. I love dual chamber cases for the room for the cable and because i prefer deep case to high ones. And i'm not especially in love with fish tank cases.

Dual-chamber cases simply trade height for width. It's a trade-off. If you want to reduce both (or all three) dimensions, you go with mini-cases, but then there's no way to have an aesthetic component show-off behind glass panels. It's always a trade-off...
That's why you get the elabotrait CON 87 pc case! It is the thinnest ATX pc case on the market, that also can mounted on the wall! And thus gives a innovative design to the almost same looking pc cases which are available
Which would you guys recommend between the O11 RGB by Lian Li, the H6 Flow and the Antec C8? Im tryna fit a B550 Aorus Elite mobo AND a Liquid Freezer III at the same time as top mounting, and I worry it won't fit as it is in my current case

I love my O11 evo great for build and maintenance. I actually started looking at these cases because of the bottom intake. So many "normal" cases dont have any bottem intake fans because of the cable shrouds.
The beauty of dual chamber cases is that it allows the bottom to be open air flow to pull cool air from under the case in directly to one of the hottest components of the PC... your GPU. That's why they work so well. If you don't like dual chamber, then the next best thing would be a PSU at the TOP of the computer like they used to be, that way it allows bottom intake fans.

Yeah, why did top mounted PSUs go away? I just moved my pc into a fractal torrent with the top mounted psu and it seems much more convenient

o11 mini can't even mount an AIO on the top, which is more proper than air bubbles at the tubes when you mount in the front

i am so glad i bought a haf xb evo cube case years ago. the build i just did in it was so much easier than any other build i’ve done.

I love daul chambers, I got one and although it's big it made cable management so easy for my first pc build. I also love to call it the tank

Having a row of fans directly under the GPU just makes a lot of sense. Having a solid panel right under the GPU just chokes it of air
Thats why the basements in regular cases have ventilation holes in them, so you can mount fans on there and provide air for the GPU.

Dual chamber is a godsend for me, it save me from the woe of cable management. I have fat finger so the extra space make it easier to navigate.

Which would you guys recommend between the O11 RGB by Lian Li, the H6 Flow and the Antec C8? Im tryna fit a B550 Aorus Elite mobo AND a Liquid Freezer III at the same time as top mounting, and I worry it won't fit as it is in my current case
H9 flow is the best case ever designed and you cant change my mind. Also where is the negative in taking up more space? The point of having an expensive pc is for it to look expensive in my opinion.
The point of expensive pc that it runs games at 4k@120hz. Very cheap pcs can look expensive.

I love my O11 evo great for build and maintenance. I actually started looking at these cases because of the bottom intake. So many "normal" cases dont have any bottem intake fans because of the cable shrouds.
12th day and 35th time asking ZTT to make an overkill ($3000+) ITX pc build guide.
Dual chamber cases have thickness the same as normal ATX tower case + slim profile SFF case.
I'm old, so I'm just glad PC cases aren't beige rectangles anymore. 😁

The beauty of dual chamber cases is that it allows the bottom to be open air flow to pull cool air from under the case in directly to one of the hottest components of the PC... your GPU.
That's why they work so well.
If you don't like dual chamber, then the next best thing would be a PSU at the TOP of the computer like they used to be, that way it allows bottom intake fans.
That's why i have Evolveo m5, which has also RGB button for all fans
