I just tried them from the shop 🏴 few days ago.. love them!
Don't know why, but I remember gypsy creams as being chocolate biscuit with chocolate flavour filling. Custard creams were the vanilla flavour. Maybe I've got mixed up, either way I used to love them! 🙂
I have made these with chocolate buttercream in the past, which also worked well.
the chocolate ones with chocolate cream are called romany creams, you can find a few videos on them
