I've never heard this singer and I don't know if this is her real voice or if something was done to it. I hope it was real, because this is the version I was looking for since I first heard this song.

I like this version of the song better. You have a richer voice than the original artist. Well done!
Though I respect your point of view and while it was great to see someone original give it a go, the original artist fit the mood and ambiance of the movie with her voice which MADE the song her own in turn inspiring others to follow in their own paths and let it go, giving it ago for themselves, so good on you Evy.
Shaun Robinson I agree, but at the same time, I think this is one of those covers that you could just listen to on repeat and still enjoy. Would it fit as good in the movie? Not really. But hey, beats the Demi Lovato version by a long shot. But I also gotta say, I just favor Idina Menzel's voice. Probably a little biased seeing as how she was the one that inspired me to go into theater.
Whatever. I like this version better. She sings like a grown up rather than a Disney princess. :-)

This song was played at my little cousin Emma's funeral. She was in a terrible crash with her mom and 5year old sister. That fatal wreck claimed Emma and Heather's lives. Emma was 10. Frozen was her favorite movie. Here I am lying in bed listening to this wonderful song and I truly can feel her presence.
I know I'm late, but I'm so sorry for your loss, and I'm glad you've found happiness in this amazing song.
Thank you. For Easter I bought a little stone that has Anna and Elsa on it for her headstone. My uncle Timmy loves it. This song used to make me sad shortly after the wreck, but with listening to the Hollens family's singing, it really helps me find happiness for tons of things

I was listening/watching youtube videos while my niece was playing with her Disney dolls. She popped up when I clicked on this video and was like, "It's Elsa!!!" She then crawled up next to me to watch with me. You really do have an amazing voice! And oh so very talented.

This version is amazing and all, but she has nothing on Idina Menzel. Sorry, folks, but just 'cause Idina wasn't 100% on her game at the Oscars (because they forced her to speed up the song, ugh) doesn't mean she isn't an amazing singer. She's a Broadway star, which means the voice you hear on the movie is her actual voice because Broadway actors/actresses have to have outstanding voices live. I've seen videos of her as Elphaba (god, she's the best Elphaba there'll ever be) and she is BEYOND amazing in that musical, and the same goes for other shows/movies she's been in. So yeah, you Idina Menzel haters can just go now 'cause she's fabulous.

I know Peter has done it already, but you MUST know that "Into the West", was pitched to a range very close to yours. I know I'm going to get hater comments, but I have to say that the original version remains the best. Don't hate on me, I LOVE Peter and you, and I also understand that it's harder because you're expecting, but the original song is sung with more feeling. Trust me, you're not the only one because I've watched a WHOLE lot of other covers of it, and none match how much emotion the original is sung with.
Once again, I LOVE you and your husband, but this song in particular doesn't quite equal or exceed the original. (Also, can't a guy have an opinion?)
