I keep plastic gloves in my kit. I also use Huggies pure baby wipes in a zip lock baggie. They are 99% water no perfume for cleansing my skin. They leave no residue and my flange sticks better.

In my To-Go Kit, I carry, two barriers, four pouches (lined with Colomajic liners which doubles the number of pouches I have to carry), wet wipes (butt wipes - the Wal-Mart Equate brand to clean around my stoma and?or barrier), disposal bags, and a tube of Stomahesive. (I also use Hollister products because they work best for me.) The Colomajic liners double the number of pouches because I use a lined pouch and when I need to change the pouch, I pull out the liner, flush it away and I have a brand new unused pouch - essentially two pouches for every one I pack!!!) The butt wipes work extremely well and I even use them at home when I change pouches to wipe around the ring to check for leaks or other weird stuff that may be going on. I never NEVER leave home without my To-Go Kit!!! Good video!!!! Keep up the good work!!!! Best wishes from Nebraska!

I love using the IPSY bags for my supplies on the go too...the square shaped bags fit my wafers perfectly! Great tips!

    Brilliant idea.
Some of my friends with Diverticular disease are facing life with a stoma and some already have one.
This is really good practical advice.

Thank you for the extra idea of the hair tie for the shirt, I never thought of that and have already put one in all my travel kits. Thank you again.

I made one similar with a quart size zip lock bag... I'm so new I'm terrified of being somewhere without my go kit that I made a small one and I store it in my purse...I also have leggings and a t shirt and underwear in a gallon sized bag ... One of these days I'm going to trust my own abilities and stick with the smaller bag.

Pony tail holder also good for keeping long hair away from stoma site during changes.

Thank you for all of your videos. I really enjoyed watching your enema video because now I am taking the enema again because my colitis has gotten worse again. Please keep on making videos. I also think it is so cool that you are going to nursing school too!

I also take a change of clothes in my (much larger bag) bc when I have a leak it usually gets all over everything.
