I love how excited the women at the cheesesteak stall got about people enjoying their food. Gotta appreciate the people who love to spread joy via food like that
@eurogael Very true. Really, anyone taking their favorite regional food and trying to take it back home to spread it to more people is a winner in my book
That pour/poor cheese and the happy excited people have nothing to with a true Philly Cheesesteak from Philadelphia, PA. Yes the name means "city of brotherly love", but they take it to mean that "brothers" are endlessly abusing one another, unless they are abusing someone else together.

Stay safe and keep doing all the good you do.
@toportime I live in NY. Hospital was Weschester Hospital. I was rushed to their trauma unit. It was the worst hospital I have ever been to. I arrived in a neck brace. Before running any test they took it off and asked me to move my neck. (Which it hurt and I could barely move because of how swollen it was). I managed to move it slightly so they said, oh! You're good! And kept the neck brace off. They messed up my allergies when I was there and refused to change them. They refused to put my real name in the system. (I was booked in as a Jane doe even though I had ID on me. I just was unrecognizable because of my accident). The hospital staff were rude and irritated whenever I would ask for things. (I was in pain and bed ridden. I had to keep calling my mom to call the hospital just to use the restroom. My mom lives in PA. Not NY). Overall, worst hospital ever. They didn't run many test on me because of the extent of my injuries. But once I got out no test wete ran and there wasn't anything in their system about my accident. I had to go back in due to an infection. (My second time was much better due to a really kind nurse). But this nuse had no idea what i was treated for previously. She only knew about my infection and why I was there at that time. My frature did heal (i got an xray done later on) but there was something else wrong in my neck from the fracture. (I forget what the neurologist said it was called). But it is caused by trauma to the neck. The only time I had trauma to my neck was the accident. My accident was bad. So far I've just taken the meds and I will be getting another MRI to see if I'm healing up in January. (This is at a different hospital thank goodness). But I do not recommend Westchester Medical Center if you can help it.

Same. The whole thing is kind of adorable. There's so few bells and whistles but they clearly put effort into the little things. Just a great vibe. And the fact he's so passionate about the stroke charity (for obvious reasons) just makes me love him more. And the dad jokes are so fucking terrible, I love it.
I've watched Beard for years and this is quite possibly my favourite video. I loved the Christmas market tour, the humour and Beards good mood. A bit late, but Happy New Year. Thanks for the entertainment 👍
In the Netherlands these Dutch pancakes are called Poffertjes, which found there origin in monasteries where they had the nickname broedertjes (brothers). Its considered a typical Dutch treat, but their origins are from France 😊
I think the origin is debated. They could either be France or the Netherlands. The first mention of them as food, if Wikipedia is to be believed, is from a description of a Dutch fair from 1734.
In Australia we call Dutch pancakes, by poffertjes too. I think it funny that we would normally anglicise most things, but this is one that kept its traditional name. It feels wrong somehow not calling it Poffertjes 😊
I discovered you from a random Kick streamer and now I have binged all your vids in the same way you binge all your food 😂 So can you explain to me how such a skinny man can eat all that food? I really like your laid back attitude and vibes, new sub here.
If you binged all his videos, you must have seen the few where he explains that he eats on a diet outside of the challenges as well as doing tons of workout and cardio.
Adam, really enjoyable year of your videos. It was great you donated £1000 even though you smashed the food (predictably) Thank you for the videos and laughs throughout the year, you really make me look forward to Sunday nights. I never comment on videos but I wanted you to know you made an impact on someone this year. I hope you and yours have an awesome Christmas and a great, most successful new year. Thank you for everything you've done for the stroke association, my wife suffered a catastrophic stroke at 49yrs old, her stroke score was 35 and she was given a 5 % chance of survival, just over 2 years on and she is a fighter, thanks to the stroke association and all the other wonderful staff, she is 90% recovered. She was as fit, healthy and to this day they can't say why it happened. Strokes can happen to anyone at any age. Such a good cause and my wife wouldn't be where she is today if it wasn't for the stroke association. So thank you for everything you do, the songs and the donations. If it helps one person in the way it has helped my wife its a lifesaver
Great video like always! The Dutch pancakes are called "poffertjes" here in the Netherlands, usually with powdered sugar as a topping. Always delicious!

Always happy to see you Adam. Love to see you demolish all types of food. I'm in Canada where it's minus 20 Celsius today. I liked how the poutine guy mentioned curd is the essential ingredient for that delicacy. Keep up the good work and have a merry Christmas.
Hello from B.C., Lakeside, we are a balmy 6C, with more rain scheduled. Then, cooling, with rain/ sleet/ snow expected for Christmas, but lots of snow higher up for the skiers. I'm enjoying the shovelling break, and hoping we do NOT get down to the -20 to - 30 of the past three years. With our lake humidity, it was utterly bone-chilling. All Good Wishes, for a Very Merry Christmas! And if you see this Adam, thanks for the very entertaining vids. Happy Christmas, mate! Cheers!
@Beardmeatsfood l appreciate the best wishes. I live near Peterborough Ontario. Used to buy the chicken pot pie from Marty Moo's. You did an eating challenge a couple of years ago. Too bad I missed you.

What a cool way this was to vicariously experience the Leeds Christmas Market. I will never get to go there, myself, so it was amazing to wander around it with you guys, sampling all the treats. Thanks for a great year of food and podcast content, from all of you. Happiest of all the holidays to everyone involved, and everyone watching.
Great video - loved seeing you with a crew and some of the relationship between you guys. I think like many others, I watch these videos for your spontaneous interactions with strangers, so seeing you with a crew was a great bonus
Thanks so very much for keeping us so entertained throughout this year. It's been a blast we're all looking forward to 2025 wishing you all the very best over Xmas to you and the mad kid (sister) cheers
More of this type of content weaved in with your usual stuff! It was so wholesome and lovely =) you could go to various street food markets and hit every stall, or a shopping centre and go to every food thing including the shakes and desert places etc
Great video, all in the Xmas Spirit, a nice change from the normal vids, great seeing The Beard socialize thru a crowd chatting with the different stall owners
Coming to the party a little late this year, but what a great post, full of Christmas and a great advert for the market and vendors. My sister lives outside Leeds, so i may plan a visit next December to visit the market.....A Merry Christmas to you all and God Bless you.
As a Canadian I can testify the guy's poutine looks 300% legit ! Just when he said there's nothing worse than going to a place and they serve you poutine with Mozza, he got me. I was served that muddy crap poutine way too much in Montreal and Calgary OR they put the cheese curds at the bottom so you still end up with a bowl of mud.... But that guy, he knows! 💯👏👌
Was in Hamburg visiting the youngest his girlfriend and youngest grandchild for Christmas, man o man o the Germans take Christmas markets to another level...... Had a fantastic time.

A little rant from a german for the stand calling their sausages Bratwurst and using the wrong sausages and the wrong bread. Doesn’t look appealing at all. And to Beard: you are gods gift, stay healthy and keep doing what you are doing! Merry Christmas!
This has to been one of my fave videos of year with all the lovely food you tried and what a generous thing to do admit you failed at end by missing a stall selling food. Merry Christmas to you, sister beard and all the crew

Thank you and merry Christmas 🎄
From Colorado myself and much love to Adam from. The western slope.. love beard
@@justinbrown4946 I miss the Western Slope. I grew up in Colorado but foolishly moved away, and now I can't go back for a a while. There's nothing like Christmas in the Colorado Snow. Now I just try to bring the joys of green chili to the DC area hahaha.
@@MisterDearly If you know you know lol
Same. The whole thing is kind of adorable. There's so few bells and whistles but they clearly put effort into the little things. Just a great vibe. And the fact he's so passionate about the stroke charity (for obvious reasons) just makes me love him more. And the dad jokes are so fucking terrible, I love it.
This channel has been a great source of good vibes and laughs throughout the year! Hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!
happy holidays!!!
Happy holidays!
With hot cherries nomnom
I think the origin is debated. They could either be France or the Netherlands. The first mention of them as food, if Wikipedia is to be believed, is from a description of a Dutch fair from 1734.
In Australia we call Dutch pancakes, by poffertjes too. I think it funny that we would normally anglicise most things, but this is one that kept its traditional name. It feels wrong somehow not calling it Poffertjes 😊
@@drafgo2845 made with a totally different type of flour and made with a different method, Dutch style is much different to the English version.
@@DJWESG1 yeah, Dutch style is the best! And unlike the ones in the video, usually served with powdered sugar and/or a curl of salted butter.
I discovered you from a random Kick streamer and now I have binged all your vids in the same way you binge all your food 😂 So can you explain to me how such a skinny man can eat all that food? I really like your laid back attitude and vibes, new sub here.
he has super genetics or something. fastest metabolism ever
Do not be fooled he is also that guy that pranks people in the gym lifting all the weights. "Anatoly" 😄
If you binged all his videos, you must have seen the few where he explains that he eats on a diet outside of the challenges as well as doing tons of workout and cardio.
@라마현명한 Yep I have seen the ripped beard haha.
I think he goes on a fast for like 2 days after a challenge if I remember correctly
Adam, really enjoyable year of your videos. It was great you donated £1000 even though you smashed the food (predictably)
Thank you for the videos and laughs throughout the year, you really make me look forward to Sunday nights.
I never comment on videos but I wanted you to know you made an impact on someone this year.
I hope you and yours have an awesome Christmas and a great, most successful new year.

Happy holidays to you and yours

its quite funny to see the difference between the Christmas market food between UK, Netherlands (where i'm from), Belgium and Germany! So typical UK, Yorkshire wrap thing.

You're not Mr. Beast. But not because of your bank balance, it's because you still have a heart.
thanks for being such an authentic and genuine creator. No ad's no like & subscribe stuff, no sponers. Just solid quality content with a great attitude. You made 2024 amazing and i look forward to 2025! Thanks big beard!
I appreciate that!
Glad your wife is doing well!
Great video like always!
The Dutch pancakes are called "poffertjes" here in the Netherlands, usually with powdered sugar as a topping. Always delicious!
Don't forget the butter!
And what we call "Dutch pancakes" in NL are big pancakes with cheese, apple, bacon and other ingredients(even union, stroop(syrup))
Would've loved to hear him pronounce Poffertjes... 😂
@@PowerHouse1987 agreed @beardmeetsfood, give that a try in your next episode haha

Glad to see a different vid type once a while in a nod to an old format beard, love it!!! Happy holidays boss
My dad passed away from a massive stroke, so thank you for donating to the cause. I’m in my first year of eating competitive, so I’m learning a lot about different things, you & Randy Santel I watch all your videos. Merry Christmas may it be blessed for you.
Cheers!
Merry Christmas 🎄
@Beardmeatsfood l appreciate the best wishes. I live near Peterborough Ontario. Used to buy the chicken pot pie from Marty Moo's. You did an eating challenge a couple of years ago. Too bad I missed you.

"After all that I'm surprised you've got mush room left". Really caught me off guard with how hilariously bad and great that pun was.
15:53 how she ran away waving her hand when you said he doesnt have a beard , could tell she was embarrassed twice 😂 and decided to dip out ahahah

Mr.Beard is close enough phonetically to Mr.Beast..still that woman didn't leave a good impression just a little bit.

More of this type of content weaved in with your usual stuff! It was so wholesome and lovely =) you could go to various street food markets and hit every stall, or a shopping centre and go to every food thing including the shakes and desert places etc
Rest in peace to all those that lost their lives in the German Christmas market.
Thank you.

19:41 Man of his words! Merry christmas to you too 🎄

Take one graham cracker break it in half, place a Reece’s peanut butter cup (or what ever kind if chocolate) toast, the marshmallow, and place it on top of the Reese‘s peanut butter cup comma, then place the other half of the graham cracker on top.z
